Then come and join our global team as Global Employee Benefits Insurance Management Expert (f/m/d), as a key member of the Global Employee Benefits Insurance Management team with responsibility for a defined (country) portfolio, managing annual renewals, analyzing claims performance, coordinating with local brokers and insurers and ensuring alignment with global insurance strategy and governance. The role combines Benefits plan design with technical insurance expertise with a strong emphasis on preventive plan design, data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement. 

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.


This position is in full-time (35h/week) with the possibility of part-time (min. 30h/week).


This position can be located across EMEA.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

Renewal management:

  • Lead the annual renewal process for a defined portfolio of countries, ensuring timely preparation, data validation and alignment with global standards and preferred providers 
  • Review and interpret claims data, loss ratios, and trend analyses to identify cost drivers, risks and improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate with country HR, Finance and local insurance stakeholders to define plan design, coverage levels and drive integration of preventive and health-promoting elements into the insurance plans
  • Coordinate with local brokers and insurers to negotiate terms, assess proposals and ensure competitive, compliant and sustainable solutions.
  • Ensure Renewal documentation, pricing, and policy terms are accurate and aligned with global governance

Benefits & Financing Strategy:

  • Support the Senior Expert in global program alignment, provider selection, including financing models, global networks and global brokers
  • Contribute with analysis and data gathering for risk inclusion and dividend influence for pool inclusions.
  • Work closely with global brokers and network partners to ensure consistent service delivery, data quality and adherence to global frameworks

Process Excellence

  • Conduct market research, benchmarking and competitive analysis to identify improvement opportunities
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of global insurance processes, tools, budget processes and governance frameworks
  • Support strategic projects and initiatives

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have successfully completed your university degree in a relevant discipline such as business administration, finance, insurance, mathematics or related field
  • You have many years of significant experience in international insurance management, brokerage, risk management and employee benefits – ideally in a multinational environment
  • You have profound experience and expert knowledge in employee-related insurance management, incl. respective financing vehicles (Captives, Pooling)
  • Additional professional qualifications, e.g. Actuary/consulting background is a bonus
  • Ability to interpret complex data, identify trends, and translate insights in to actionable recommendations.
  • You have experience working with/managing external service providers and holding vendors accountable to agreed standards.
  • You possess the demonstrated ability to make independent decisions and manage conflicting priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • You have sound knowledge of markets and countries
  • You have proven experience in leading implementation projects enabled by your advanced communication and change management skills
  • Your mindset is grounded on curiosity, value and change that will support us in the transformation of our organizational culture and operating model.

  • You are business fluent in English language (spoken and written); additional local languages (e.g. German, Spanish, French) are desirable.
  • You have the ability to work within a global, matrixed structure.
  • You are a strategic thinker with the ability to execute in a hands-on manner.
  • You have strong analytical, financial modeling, and risk management skills.
  • You have excellent stakeholder engagement and vendor negotiation capabilities.
  • You have the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments across multiple jurisdictions.
  • You have a well-structured and detail-oriented working style, with a strong focus on consistency, risk mitigation, and sustainable compliance across global operations.
  • You have sound judgment and decision-making ability when assessing comparative information.
  • You have the ability to balance regulatory requirements with business needs, taking a pragmatic, solution-oriented approach.
  • You have strong and transparent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics to non-expert audiences.
  • High level of integrity, discretion, and professionalism when handling sensitive strategic matters.
  • You are willing to travel internationally (10-20%).


Depending on the experience and qualifications background of the applicant, task enrichment into the area above the general pay scale is possible.
