Then come and join our global team as Team Lead (f/m/d) Product Management for Clinical Applications to shape the future of our portfolio of clinical applications.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You take on both technical and disciplinary leadership of a team of Product Managers within the business line and actively develop the competencies of your team members.
  • You consistently focus on customer needs, market trends, and clinical insights, thereby fostering an entrepreneurial mindset and approach within the team.
  • You assume full business responsibility for the product portfolio of in-house applications and make decisions with sustainable business success in mind.
  • You empower your team to develop compelling product visions, -strategies, and roadmaps, and guide products confidently through the entire Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) process.
  • You work closely with Marketing, Sales, Portfolio Management, Innovation, and R&D, ensuring sustainable success of your product portfolio through constructive and goal-oriented collaboration.
  • You actively contribute to strategic decisions and forward-looking initiatives, driving the continuous improvement of processes through the targeted use of AI and the establishment of agile working methods.
  • You play a leading role in transforming our in-house developed products from an interactive solution into, wherever possible, a fully automated tool for image analytics and interpretation.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a university degree in Computer Science, Physics, Medicine, or a comparable field.
  • You bring extensive experience in developing modern software products and have in-depth knowledge of agile development models as well as clinical applications of such solutions.
  • In addition, you have many years of experience and a proven track record in managing complex software projects in a demanding multi-stakeholder environment, and have successfully driven innovative topics in the field of Artificial Intelligence (e.g., large language models, generative AI).
  • You possess strong clinical expertise with a clear understanding of the requirements of modern software solutions. Ideally, you have worked in a clinical setting yourself or have extensive experience in developing clinical applications.

  • You have full professional proficiency in English and can communicate confidently with national and international customers, colleagues and partners.
  • You have a strong sense of when collaborative partnership is needed and when decisive action is required, balancing consensus-building with assertiveness.
  • You bring a passion for innovation, a drive to shape things, and a strong affinity for new technologies, methods, and ways of working.
  • With your strong interpersonal skills and empathy, you build trust-based relationships and promote constructive collaboration.
  • You are enthusiastic about change and transformation and know how to successfully guide and engage people through change processes.
  • You are willing to undertake regular, planned business travel domestically and internationally (approx. 10%).
