Then come and join our global team as Strategy Manager (f/m/d) for Consulting & Inorganic growth Strategy, to play a key role at the intersection of corporate strategy, consulting, and inorganic growth. In this highly visible position, you will help define strategic priorities, shape the future of our consulting business, and actively support M&A and partnership decisions. You will contribute to strengthening our consulting offering as a critical lever to increase C-level relevance and enable sustainable value creation. With a stronger clinical orientation, you will help position consulting as a cornerstone of our Enterprise Services business and a key driver of customer impact and long-term growth.


Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You drive the continuous development of the Enterprise Services (ES) strategy with a focus on consulting and inorganic growth (M&A / partnerships), preparing the relevant decision proposals and presentations for senior stakeholders and executive management
  • You develop and oversee the implementation of our global consulting strategy in alignment with the Consulting organizations (ES Consulting and ECG Management Consultants)
  • You provide expertise  and assess / guide consulting topics in ES strategy projects
  • You identify, assess, and develop potential partners and M&A targets, including building and maintaining a strategic landscape aligned with ES priorities
  • You support M&A processes, including strategic evaluation, business case development, and integration planning
  • You collaborate closely with consulting, digital, and regional teams to drive strategic initiatives and ensure impact realization

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have a degree in business, healthcare, engineering, or a related field; an advanced degree (e.g., MBA, PhD) is an advantage
  • You have several years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, M&A, or related fields, ideally within healthcare or service-driven business models
  • You have a proven ability to manage projects and drive change across organizational boundaries in an international environment
  • You bring strong experience in strategic analysis, business case development, and ideally transaction-related work (M&A / partnerships)
  • You have solid experience in project management, including planning, prioritization, and execution of strategic initiatives
  • Experience in healthcare and/or consulting-driven business models as well as transaction-related work (M&A / partnerships) is a strong plus


Your attributes and skills:

  • You have strong presentation and communication skills as well as excellent English skills, enabling you to communicate easily and on an equal footing with different business areas, cultures, and management levels in an international environment. German language skills are a plus.
  • You are a strategic, creative, and entrepreneurial thinker with a strong problem-solving mindset
  • You translate strategy into actionable initiatives and ensure successful execution and value realization
  • You work in a highly structured and independent manner and have excellent project management skills.
  • You impress with your strong analytical skills and keen business acumen.
  • You communicate professionally and confidently with internal and external senior stakeholders.
  • You are self-motivated, proactively drive issues forward, and are highly implementation-oriented.

Depending on the experience and qualifications background of the applicant, task enrichment into the area above the general pay scale is possible.
