The Application Specialist is a key customer-facing expert responsible for driving successful implementation and utilization of the company's diagnostic solutions across the assigned territory. Acting as a trusted advisor to customers and business partners, the Application Specialist provides product expertise, user training, application support, and technical consultation to ensure optimal instrument performance and effective reagent utilization.  The role combines customer engagement, application support, and commercial collaboration, including analysis of reagent consumption, identification of growth opportunities, and development of initiatives to increase product adoption.
In this position, we are looking for a professional based in or near Moscow, with frequent travel throughout the assigned territory.

Candidate's responsibilities are to

  • Maintain regular interaction with customers and analyze reagent consumption across the installed instrument base within the assigned territory. Develop and implement plans to drive reagent utilization and growth.
  • Support project sales activities by providing timely product-related information and technical support to customers, company employees, and business partners.
  • Develop and deliver effective training programs for end users and business partners on product applications. Adapt and localize technical documentation and training materials as required.
  • Conduct user training on instrument operation and best practices for reagent usage.
  • Provide technical and application support to end users and ensure timely handling of customer complaints and product claims in accordance with company procedures.
  • Prepare, maintain, and regularly update brochures, training materials, technical presentations, and other informational resources.
  • Manage demonstration equipment and product samples in strict compliance with company policies and procedures.

Required expertise

  • University degree in Biology, Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, or a related field.
  • Work experience in a Clinical Diagnostic Laboratory (CDL) is necessary.
  • Experience as an Application Specialist, Product Specialist, or Product Manager within the healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences industry is considered an advantage.
  • Solid knowledge of clinical chemistry, laboratory diagnostics, and analytical technologies.
  • Intermediate level of English, including the ability to understand and use biomedical and technical terminology.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and work with technical and scientific documentation.
  • Proficiency in standard computer applications, including Microsoft Office.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with customers and business partners.
  • Excellent presentation and training skills.
  • Valid Category B driver's license and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
