Then come and join our global team as Customs Management & Broker Management Expert (f/m/d), and take broker management in the EMEA region to the next level by establishing group-wide standards and ensuring their sustainable operational implementation.
This position can be filled either full-time or part-time (approx. 30 hours/week).
The role can be based in Erlangen (Germany) or Bratislava (Slovakia).
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You design and develop a future-oriented, standardized broker management framework for the EMEA region and drive its implementation in an international, cross-functional environment.
- You define policies, governance structures, and KPIs for collaboration with external customs brokers and ensure their consistent adherence.
- You lead and support the rollout of a globally scalable broker program, ensuring transparency, quality, and efficiency across all customs processes.
- You act as the central point of contact for internal stakeholders, providing clear guidance on both strategic and operational matters related to customs management.
- You work in a project-based setup within international teams and drive continuous improvement as well as organizational development.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You hold a university degree, ideally in business administration, logistics, supply chain management, law, or a related field.
- You bring extensive experience in customs management or in working with customs brokers, as well as solid knowledge of international customs processes.
- You have experience in designing and implementing programs, policies, or governance structures in an international environment.
- You have strong project management skills and a track record of working successfully in complex, cross-functional projects.

- You demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and manage diverse stakeholders on an equal footing.

- You thrive in international, diverse teams and value cultural diversity as an asset.
- You are fluent in English; German language skills are a plus.
- You are willing to undertake occasional, well-planned travel within the EMEA region (approx. 10%).
