Then come and join our global team as Accounting Policies Specialist (f/m/d) to shape the financial reporting of Siemens Healthineers.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.

This position is full-time or part-time with a minimum of 28h/week.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You serve as a point of contact for various accounting matters in accordance with IFRS.
  • You are responsible for contributing sections to the Siemens Healthineers consolidated notes and management report and take on tasks related to quality assurance.
  • You drive the further development of accounting policies.
  • You are also responsible for harmonizing the accounting practices of acquired companies.
  • In addition, you advance the optimization of consolidated financial statement processes.
  • You coordinate various inquiries from external auditors and clarify them accordingly.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a master’s degree in business administration with a focus on finance, accounting, or auditing. An additional qualification such as Certified Public Accountant or tax advisor is an advantage.
  • You have several years of professional experience in conceptual accounting and financial statement preparation at a publicly listed, internationally operating company or an audit firm.
  • Alternatively, you hold a PhD in a related field.
  • We also welcome applicants with a bachelor’s degree or completed vocational training combined with additional professional experience in this area.
  • Furthermore, you possess in-depth knowledge of IFRS accounting.
  • Ideally, you bring an affinity for IT processes.

  • You possess fluent written and spoken German and English skills.
  • You are characterized by strong analytical and independent working skills, particularly with accounting policies and standards. You also enjoy working in an international environment.
