Then come and join our global team as Senior Accounting Policies Specialist (f/m/d) to shape the financial reporting of Siemens Healthineers.
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
This position is full-time or part-time with a minimum of 28h/week.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- As an expert for complex IFRS accounting matters, you serve as a central point of contact for our stakeholders.
- You independently prepare sections of the Siemens Healthineers consolidated notes and management report and are responsible for quality assurance.
- You drive the continuous development of accounting policies and ensure the confident implementation of new regulatory requirements.
- You also manage the harmonization of accounting practices for acquired companies.
- You identify optimization potential in our consolidated financial statement processes and proactively drive their implementation.
- You handle and resolve inquiries from external auditors.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You hold a degree in business administration with a focus on finance, accounting, or auditing. An additional qualification such as Certified Public Accountant or tax advisor is an advantage.
- You can demonstrate many years of professional experience in conceptual accounting and financial statement preparation at a publicly listed, internationally operating company or an audit firm.
- Alternatively, you have completed a PhD combined with several years of relevant professional experience.
- You already bring extensive, long-standing professional experience and additional qualifications in this field but do not hold a university degree? We likewise welcome your application.
- In addition, you possess deep expertise in IFRS accounting.
- Ideally, you also bring an affinity for IT processes.

- You possess fluent written and spoken German and English skills.
