R&D Lab Technician (f/m/d) - fixed-term until December 2027

Then come and join our global team as R&D Lab Technician (f/m/d) to conduct laboratory studies as part of product development and improvement projects, and product maintenance activities.
This position is a fixed-term position until December 2027 and can be located in either Marburg (Germany) or Llanberis (United Kingdom).

Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You will provide assistance in research, analysis and experimentation for product and process development of immunoassays.
- You will participate in interdisciplinary Element Team/ Design Change / Design Transfer meetings.
- You will assist in the development of experimental test designs for a variety of products, processes in support of new product development or lifecycle management projects.
- You will execute assay and application (e.g. new allergens) verification / validations using agreed protocols with guidance/supervision.
- You will carry out laboratory and equipment maintenance and ordering chemicals/supplies to support departmental activities.
- You will provide support in preparing reports, charts, graphs, and other documents.
- You will ensure compliance, at all times, with relevant Quality and Environmental Standards as documented within the company Quality Management Systems.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have successfully completed your apprenticeship as a biological technician (Biologielaborant*in or equivalent)
- You have several years of experience in R&D assay development, industry experience in Life Sciences, Medical Devices or Diagnostics (preferred), or relevant transferable experience.
- You have advanced knowledge of analyzers, reagent and development processes
Your attributes and skills:
- You have very good language skills in English (verbal and written)
- You excel with your attention to detail, good time management skills and teamwork.
- You possess a high level of commitment, integrity and a high level of self-motivation.
