Then come and join our global team as Senior Software Engineer MRI Workflow (f/m/d) to help clinical staff manage critical data daily, facilitating its exchange with information and post-processing systems - thereby making a valuable contribution to improving patient care.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for developing software solutions for magnetic resonance imaging systems within an agile Scrum team.
  • You analyze requirements and independently derive implementation concepts.
  • You are responsible for the functional design and coordinate the implementation of backend software solutions.
  • You ensure the quality and sustainability of the developed solutions and drive the continuous improvement of the software architecture.
  • You work closely with Product Owners and other development teams and manage professional exchange with relevant stakeholders.
  • You actively shape modern development processes and continuously optimize them.

    Your qualifications and experience:

    • You have a university degree in Computer Science, Medical Engineering with a focus on IT, or a comparable field.
    • You bring many years of professional experience in backend software development and software architecture, ideally in a medical technology environment.
    • You have very good knowledge of C#, C++, and the .NET ecosystem.
    • You confidently apply clean code principles and ensure high code quality.
    • You have extensive experience with Microsoft Visual Studio and Git.
    • You have strong experience in Continuous Integration and are familiar with DevOps principles and shift-left approaches.
    • Knowledge of AI-assisted software development (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code) is a plus.

      • You are a team player and ensure effective communication within the team and with stakeholders.
      • You are interested in the clinical challenges of our customers and enjoy developing products that deliver clear added value.
      • You independently analyze complex problems and solve them in a structured way, particularly using log data.
      • You work independently, take responsibility, and proactively move topics forward.
      • You have very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken, and can communicate effectively in an international environment.
