The Healthcare Consultant Solutions(HCS) provides consulting services to diagnostics customers. The consultant visits hospitals and laboratories to collect information from the customer site and determine the best solution to fulfill customer needs with Siemens Healthineers portfolio. In the pre-sales phase, he/she will use their knowledge and expertise in the design and visualization of laboratory layouts to create CAD drawings of customer facilities and analyze the workflow of the current situation, to prepare and deliver the presentation to the customer. During the implementation phase, he/she collaborates with the Project Manager (PM) and Service Team to support on a smooth transition; and verifies that the designed workflow during the pre-sales is implemented, proposing adjustment if needed. In the post-sales phase, the consultant performs lab optimization on strategic and selected accounts evaluating the lab workflow and processes to identify areas of improvement and to quantify it to generate value to customers and Siemens Healthineers through business opportunities. Qualified candidates will need to have strong visualization capacity and own the use of design tools such as AutoDesk family of products (i.e. AutoCAD) as well as having basic 3D modelling knowledge. The consultant will have direct interaction with customers(in different levels of the organization) and internally with sales, business, marketing, and other departments. Availability to travel inside the country and internationally is required (up to 40% of the time).

Main responsabilities: 
  • Analyze lab processes and lab organization (e.g., sample flow, TAT, equipment's workflow, processes, infrastructure, etc.) identifying specific customer issues and needs from the data collection and through on-site observation.
  • Work with architects, facilities and contractors to provide environmental requirements (water, power, waste, etc.) helping customers design plans to achieve site readiness supporting with high-quality documentation and outputs (final layouts, specification packets, transition packets).
  • Develop and design the customer proposal demonstrating the value of our solution in alignment with the strategy from business / sales / marketing. 
  • Elaborate and present internally and to the customer the value of our solution, with our differentiators and with the potential savings.
  • He/she will support the team in tender responses (technical and solution matters), especially for complex and automation projects.
  • Support the Project Manager (PM) in discussions with the customer about the transition and change management (especially for automation and complex deals).
  • Organize workshops with the customer (if needed) to assure a smooth implementation of the new processes (Change Management).
  • Performs regular follow-up with the Project Manager / Sales/ Service team to collaborate during the implementation phase to properly monitor workflows & IT solutions implementation.
  • Select strategic accounts to perform lab optimization (Health Check) in alignment with business, sales, and marketing, using HCS tools to identify areas of improvement.
  • Quantify the improvements from lab optimization to generate value to the customer and to Siemens Healthineers. 
  • Assist in a variety of other consulting work sets that include data analytics in Workload generation programs and Simulation database programs, pulling dashboard data from AMC, ADM, APM.
  • Work with customers on long-term solutions & strengthen customer relationships.
What do you need for this role: 
  • Master/bachelor’s in biomedical sciences, lab technician or engineer in chemistry, biochemistry, physics, or biology.
  • High proficiency in AutoCAD software and knowledge construction industry standards and best practices in healthcare settings is appreciated
  • Clinical laboratory market & workflow knowledge is preferred with experience in lab consulting, commercial team and/or project management. 
  • Analytical mindset, critical thinking, and strong technical skills and IT affinity.
  • Strong communication, presentation skills and ability to answer commercial/technical questions.
  • Needs to work in a high performing team, open minded, open for challenges and complex projects, creative and solution oriented.
  • Needs to be sensitive to cultural differences between countries and customers. Need to be efficient in multicultural teamwork.
  • Excellent level of English to actively interact with colleagues from other countries, headquarters and receive training.
  • Availability to travel part-time (up to 40%) inside the country and internationally.
