Position: Country Finance Head (Slovakia
Preferred location: Bratislava; however, Žilina and Košice are also considered.
Your role:
- Acts as the strategic business partner to Country Head for overall business management and
- decision-making
- Acts as enabler and supporter for business opportunities and development from financial
- perspective; orchestrating the different FI functions successful collaboration
- Represents Country Finance and acts as Corporate Officer for the respective legal entity
- Advises and escalates (“Segregation of Duties”) to ensure value-based capital allocation,
- transparency of facts & figures and integrity of books & records
- Accountable for setting up effective internal control system and delegation of authority processes
- (signature regulations). Interacts with government agencies, tax authorities etc. according to local
- requirements
- Responsible for monitoring, escalating and driving counter measures to identified Control
- deficiencies that impact the Control certification and/or financial performance of the Legal Entity
- Ensures compliance with local laws and regulations in area of responsibility
- Hosts all SHS corporate FI functions represented in the Country as in-company manager and
- ensures proper collaboration between Zone, Region, Offshored functions and SLA Service entities
- impacting the Country objectives; monitors service quality and escalates in case of service issues
- Acts as in-company manager for Zone FI Departments hosted in Country
- Together with Country Head/ Head of AC responsible for internal and external certification
- Responsible for Country specific budgeting/ forecasting/ controlling established processes in close
- alignment with Zone FI Management and Zone FI BPC guidance
- Responsible for local Business FI controlling (including Terms& Conditions, financial viability of
- contracts & offers) in close alignment with respective Zone FI departments
- Responsible for capital structure, liquidity and financial development of Country Legal Entity in
- close collaboration with SHS Shareholder Controlling
- Acts as role model for the financial community; Develops, promotes and mentors talents
- Supports COO activities across the local entity such as management of day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and performance, implementing and executing strategy, reporting performance indicators, resource management, and process optimization.
Your expertise:
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in financial leadership, project controlling, or commercial management roles
- accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS), and compliance requirements
- Experience in contract management, including legal and commercial terms negotiation
- Solid understanding of cost control, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Demonstrated ability to manage project financials, including profitability, cash flow, and risk
- Experience with project accounting, cost classification, and financial reporting systems
- & treasury area
- Experience with audits, financial reporting, and regulatory compliance processes
- Experience in revenue cycle management (billing, collections, reimbursements), preferably in healthcare or complex service environments
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and provide actionable insights
- Experience in strategic financial planning and supporting executive-level decision-making
- Proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing finance or commercial teams in complex matrix organization.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data clearly to management, internal & external stakeholders
- Driving Sustainability strategic goals
- Slovak or Czech languages and fluent English language skills is a must
- Location preferred Bratislava, other locations Zilina and Kosice are not excluded

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 7 500 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
