Then come and join our global team as a junior Lawyer to support its business in Türkiye reporting to the Head of Legal for Türkiye. The responsibilities will cover a very wide range of legal topics of all Siemens Healthineers group companies in Türkiye (currently two companies) and their business as well as the position of the proxy Data Privacy Coordinator.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Acting as trusted advisor of the local managements and staffs for any legal question
  • Providing advice and support in connection with public tenders and public procurement proceedings, anti-trust law.
  • Providing advice and support on corporate, company and employment law matters, including the preparation of notices, board meetings, filings, etc.
  • Drafting, commenting and negotiating various types of contracts and general terms and conditions
  • Providing advice on regulatory topics, as well as data privacy
  • Ensure and improve implementation of the Siemens Healthineers Data Privacy System in your respective area of responsibility
  • Conducting internal and external trainings on important legal matters, developments and court decisions
  • Maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of local legal developments and keeping the management and the Legal organization informed
  • Effective engagement and management of external counsel where required
  • Communicating effectively with customers and public authorities
  • Supporting the Legal management in Austria and Germany in their strategic and operational tasks relating to Türkiye and further countries (as the case may be)
  • Ensuring continuous knowledge exchange with Legal colleagues in the EMEA Region and the headquarter

Your qualifications and experience:

  • Law degree and preferably admission as an attorney-at-law in Türkiye with at least 3 years work experience in a similar position in an international environment (preferably in an international company or healthcare sector)
  • Excellent legal knowledge and experience in particular with data privacy law, public procurement law, competition law, contract law and corporate law
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal and teamwork skills, ability to be a trusted partner of the managements
  • Excellent business acumen
  • Independent, entrepreneurial working style
  • Experience in cooperation in a project team and disciplinary or functional management
  • Ability to handle multiple matters simultaneously and prioritize effectively
Your attributes and skills:

  • Proficient Turkish and English language skills
  • Highly developed negotiation skills and diplomacy
  • Aptitude for presenting and teaching
  • Strong communication skills, ability to communicate effectively in an international working environment (locally and with headquarters in Austria and Germany)
  • Readiness to travel within Türkiye as well as other to countries, when necessary.
