We are looking for a Java Full Stack Developer with focus on JAVA and JavaScript development who will be developing and maintaining tools for cybersecurity department in Siemens Healthineers.

As member of our development team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to internal and open-source tools with a focus on cybersecurity and OSS clearance, e.g. Eclipse SW360 and OWASP Dependency Track.

Eclipse SW360 is a software catalogue system that eases managing software components and its license information in an organization.
SW360 is an initiative by Siemens in OSS space, with many leading companies from various fields we are all working together, as a vibrant and growing community under eclipse foundation to improve the tool that works for all.

Dependency-Track is an intelligent Component Analysis platform that allows organizations to identify and reduce risk in the software supply chain.

Your tasks will be the following:

• Feature development: enhance the tools with new features including cloud compatibility
• Bug fixing: support in fixing bugs reported by external community and by internal Siemens users.
• Automation: create more REST-API end points for seamless integration
• Testing: Improvement of quality of developed tools

What are we expecting:

• University bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science (or related field) or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Web Developer
• Strong proficiency in JAVA 8/11, JavaScript ecosystem together with experience in React.js
• Experience with SQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL, CouchDB)
• Familiarity with microservices, REST APIs, Servlets and JSP, Spring / Spring Boot
• Experience with contributions to GitHub
• Experience with Linux operating systems
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills, good communication and highly collaborative approach.
