Then come and join our global team as SAP WM/EWM Lead Specialist (f/m/d).


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You are responsible for leading the on-site support team at our strategic warehouse location in Germany.
  • You lead SAP WM projects and enhancements and act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in EWM implementation projects.
  • You are an expert in the WM module, analyzing, designing, and configuring warehouse processes such as inbound, outbound, putaway, picking, stock transfers, handling unit management, and physical inventory.
  • You work on integration touchpoints with MM, SD, and other ECC modules.
  • You monitor and resolve issues related to IDocs, queues, and interface errors.
  • You provide functional specifications for custom developments and collaborate closely with ABAP teams.
  • You support migration and transition projects from WM to EWM.
  • You collaborate closely with business units, ensure business continuity at our distribution facility, gather requirements, and conduct workshops in German.
  • Additionally, you prepare documentation, conduct training, and provide end-user support.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a Bachelor degree in the field of computer science or comparable field with several years of professional work experience in the SAP environment, preferably in logistics.
  • You have practical experience in SAP WM (Warehouse Management), including configuration, support, and project work.
  • Do you already have extensive, long-standing professional experience and additional qualifications in this field, but no university degree? Then we would also be delighted to receive your application.
  • You possess a solid understanding of the integration between MM (Materials Management) and SD (Sales & Distribution).
  • Additionally, you have good knowledge of IDocs, qRFC, and queues in SAP environments.
  • You have experience with SAP EWM (both embedded and decentralized) or at least practical knowledge in this area.
  • Furthermore, you have experience with SAP ECC 6.0.
  • Knowledge of migration to S/4HANA is an advantage.
  • You have also gained experience in transition projects from WM to EWM.
  • You possess knowledge in RF integration, mobile data capture, printers, and other hardware-related support.
  • You are familiar with transportation and logistics processes (LE, TM) and ideally have knowledge of warehouse automation.
  • You are able to work in a warehouse environment and provide support in shifts if required.
  • Knowledge in the field of modern IT infrastructure desirable (which will cover printer, hardware, network- Wi-Fi- RF integration related support).

  • With your excellent communication and presentation skills, you can effectively manage and collaborate with both business and IT stakeholders. Your fluent German language skills support you in this. Ideally, you are also confident in communicating in English.

  • You have a high level of commitment, independence, resilience and flexibility in response to changing work requirements.
  • You have the willingness to work in two shifts.
