HPS Internal Consulting is a new service pillar of the HPS Central Office that specializes in project management support, process optimization, and transformation support serving internal clients across Siemens Healthineers. We are currently looking for a dedicated and experienced Senior Management Consultant to join our team.
HPS Senior Management Consultants are leading high-priority consulting projects for our internal clients and driving continuous improvement activities within our complex matrix organization. In this role, you will be responsible for applying various proven methodologies, enhancing operational efficiency, boosting productivity, driving transformation, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across Siemens Healthineers.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You will lead high-impact consulting engagements from opportunity identification and scoping through implementation and value realization, ensuring high-quality delivery on time and within budget.
- You are responsible for driving internal business development across SHS by identifying strategic consulting opportunities, building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and shaping high-value proposals.
- You serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, aligning initiatives with business priorities, transformation objectives, and long-term organizational goals.
- You diagnose complex business challenges end-to-end using quantitative and qualitative analyses, process diagnostics, and root-cause problem solving to identify value creation levers.
- You will design and implement sustainable solutions across processes, operating models, and ways of working, ensuring measurable impact and lasting adoption.
- You will lead cross-functional teams in a complex matrix organization, driving stakeholder alignment, decision-making, and execution across organizational boundaries.
- You promote a culture of continuous improvement and performance management by strengthening data-driven decision-making, transparency, and ownership across teams.
- You will manage engagement economics (scope, budget, resource allocation, and profitability) and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and maximize value delivery.
- You will coach and mentor project team members, building consulting capabilities, fostering collaboration, and elevating overall team performance.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You possess a Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Operations Management, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- You can look back on many years of professional experience in management, strategy, or operations consulting, ideally in complex international organizations and matrix environments.
- Alternatively, you have a Bachelor’s degree in an equivalent field with additional years of experience in the area.
Your attributes and skills:
- You possess excellent stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and align cross-functional teams in ambiguous environments.
- You have strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with advanced proficiency in data modeling, performance analysis, and ideally data visualization tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau).
- You are willing to travel to internal client sites as required by project needs.
- Spoken and written fluency in English and German is required.
