Working Student (f/m/d) User Experience
Mode of Employment: Fixed Term / 15h/Week

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You will contribute to research activities such as user interviews, focus groups and usability tests for the development of digital solutions in the field of diagnostic imaging
- You will assist with the preparation and conduct of user studies, as well as their detailed evaluation and documentation, and communicate the results effectively to various stakeholders
- You will contribute to projects and platforms that enable researchers to critically examine and discuss their research findings
- In addition to the tasks mentioned above, you will assist with general research activities such as literature reviews and surveys, particularly on topics relating to usability and UX in the medical sector, as well as with the development of standardised procedures for UX research in the medical sector

Your qualifications and experience:
- You are studying psychology, human factors, HCI, social sciences, medical technology or another related subject.
- Ideally, you are at the start of your Master’s degree or halfway through your Bachelor’s degree
- You have theoretical knowledge of research methodology or some practical experience in applying qualitative and quantitative research methods, such as the creation, validation and evaluation of questionnaires, or the preparation, conduct and analysis of interviews or usability tests
- You are familiar with tools for analysing qualitative or quantitative data, such as R, MAXQDA, or advanced knowledge of Excel or PowerPoint, and preferably practical experience with tools such as Figma and Conceptboard for project presentation and collaboration
Your attributes and skills:
- You have excellent written and spoken German and English
- You are interested in the evaluation of human-computer interfaces and the principles of user-centred design/design thinking
- You are a team player with good communication skills, but also demonstrate commitment when working independently on tasks
- You have a genuine interest in UX and are able to dedicate yourself purposefully to the tasks of this role
