The Strategy & Innovation Lead is a global role responsible for shaping and driving the strategic and innovation agenda for digitalization of Customer Services. The role focuses on future readiness by defining the implementation strategy, leading innovation initiatives, and ensuring that emerging technologies, skills, and ways of working are systematically developed and embedded. Unlike delivery execution roles, this position does not manage day-to-day delivery or people, but instead influences through expertise, thought leadership, and strong stakeholder engagement. The role operates also across the broader ecosystem, acting as a bridge to other organizational units to ensure architectural alignment, reuse, and strategic coherence.

This is a hybrid position with possible locations in Bratislava, Žilina or Košice.

Key Responsibilities

Cross-Functional Alignment & Ecosystem Integration

  • Ensure that strategy and innovation initiatives are aligned with broader organizational standards, platforms, and architectural principles.
  • Collaborate with adjacent teams and functions to identify synergies, enable reuse of solutions, and avoid duplication of efforts.
  • Incorporate shared platforms, best practices, and integration approaches into innovation activities.
  • Act as a bridge between Implementation Services and the wider digital and technology landscape, ensuring alignment and knowledge exchange.
  • Contribute insights from implementation and delivery into the evolution of standards, approaches, and strategic direction.

Strategy & Roadmap Development

  • Define, maintain, and evolve the Implementation Services strategy and multi-year roadmap aligned with business priorities.
  • Translate business and technology trends into clear strategic initiatives and focus areas.
  • Ensure strategic alignment across the organization and senior stakeholder groups.
  • Ensure alignment with cross-capability architecture, platform strategies, and governance.

Innovation Pipeline & Emerging Technologies

  • Own and manage the innovation pipeline, from idea generation through pilot execution.
  • Lead AI, automation, and ServiceNow innovation initiatives and proof-of-concepts.
  • Identify, assess, and introduce emerging technologies and best practices relevant to IS.
  • Leverage reusable assets, shared platforms, and engineering standards in innovation initiatives.

Portfolio Framing & Investment Logic

  • Support strategic portfolio framing and prioritization of initiatives in collaboration with leadership team
  • Provide input into investment decisions by articulating long-term value, capability impact, and strategic fit.
  • Ensure balance between short-term delivery needs and long-term capability development.

Capability Development & Enablement

  • Identify future skill and capability needs and translate them into concrete development actions.
  • Enable communities of practice, standards, and reusable assets across teams.
  • Drive adoption of new tools, methods, and ways of working.

Stakeholder Engagement & Thought Leadership

  • Act as a thought leader and advisor on strategy and innovation topics
  • Communicate strategy, roadmaps, and innovation outcomes clearly to management
  • Collaborate closely with the Execution Lead, Architecture, and other key partners.
  • Act as a key interface between organizations to ensure alignment and knowledge flow.

Skills & Experience

  • Strong strategic thinking and innovation leadership experience in a technology or software delivery environment.
  • Proven experience with enterprise platforms such as ServiceNow and exposure to AI, automation, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and storytelling skills, particularly with senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence without formal authority and drive alignment across teams.
  • Typically, 7+ years of relevant professional experience in strategy, innovation, architecture, or similar roles.
  • Fluent business English.

In line with applicable pay transparency requirements, the minimum gross monthly base salary for this position is 3400€.

In addition, this role includes a variable compensation component, depending on individual and/or company performance.

The final offer will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience and may exceed the stated minimum.
