Job Description - Benefits Operations Professional (India)

Location: Bengaluru

Summary

Responsible for administering employee benefits programs and statutory compliance processes. Ensures accurate transaction processing, payroll coordination, vendor management, and employee support in line with company policies and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Benefits & Compliance Administration

Execute day-to-day administration of statutory and non-statutory benefits (PF, Gratuity, NPS, insurance, car scheme)
Manage statutory filings, contribution validation, and reconciliations
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to timelines
Maintain accurate records, documentation, and audit trails

Insurance & Employee Benefits

Administer enrollments, exits, and updates for insurance programs
Validate premium data and coordinate with payroll and insurers
Support claim processing, query resolution, and escalation management

Payroll & Reconciliation

Provide monthly inputs for statutory deductions and benefit-related recoveries
Validate payroll outputs and perform reconciliations across systems, statutory portals, and vendor invoices
Resolve discrepancies in coordination with Payroll and Finance

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

Coordinate with external vendors (insurers, leasing companies, trustees)
Monitor service delivery and ensure timely invoice processing and payments
Collaborate with HR, Finance, Procurement, and other stakeholders

Reporting, Controls & Employee Support

Prepare operational reports, dashboards, and audit documentation
Support audits, compliance reviews, and internal controls
Address employee queries and provide guidance on benefits policies and processes
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation

Systems & Data Management

Maintain accurate data in HRIS and benefits systems
Perform data validation, uploads, and system updates
Support system enhancements and testing activities
