Senior Technical Product Owner for Data Products - Hybrid - Bratislava/Žilina/Košice

Act as Senior Technical Product Owner for data analytics and machine learning products, owning the vision, roadmap, and backlog.
Drive end-to-end responsibility for solution delivery, including requirements definition, development oversight, quality assurance, and production readiness.
Work hands-on in data analytics and ML initiatives, contributing as:
- Product Owner, and/or
- Technical contributor (developer/reviewer) where needed.
Collaborate closely with data engineers, ML engineers, and platform teams working on:
- Snowflake
- Databricks
- Modern cloud-based data platforms.
Translate business objectives & user needs into clear, prioritized user stories and technical requirements.
Review architecture, code, and implementations to ensure alignment with:
- Business requirements
- Technical standards
- Data quality and performance expectations.
Establish and enforce quality standards, including testing strategies, acceptance criteria, and release readiness.
Proactively manage delivery in environments with ambiguous or evolving requirements, driving clarity and alignment.
Act as a key interface between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring transparency and predictable outcomes.
Profile:
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Owner or similar role in data-driven environments.
- Proven experience in data analytics and machine learning projects, acting as:
- Product Owner, and/or
- Developer / technical contributor.
- Strong hands-on technical expertise in:
- SQL
- Python
- Git and DevOps practices
- Modern data platforms such as Snowflake and Databricks
- Experience with Qlik is a plus.
- Solid understanding of:
- Data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes
- Analytics and ML solution lifecycle.
- Demonstrated ability to steer, coach, and challenge development teams, fostering high engineering and delivery standards.
- Strong capability to review code and designs against user needs and business outcomes.
- Comfortable working proactively and independently in complex environments with changing or unclear requirements.
- Strong analytical thinking, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
In line with applicable pay transparency requirements, the minimum gross monthly base salary for this position is 3 200€
In addition, this role includes a variable compensation component, depending on individual and/or company performance.
The final offer will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience and may exceed the stated minimum.
