Do you want to help shape the future of healthcare? Join our global Corporate Cybersecurity team as a Cybersecurity Exception Specialist  (f/m/d). In this junior individual contributor role, you will have your first experience with the cybersecurity job path within Siemens Healthineers.

Your Responsibilities

• Investigate and manage Cybersecurity Exceptions, including initial triage, root cause analysis, and assignment to relevant subject matter experts
• Coordinate exception handling activities and drive communication between requestors and security experts
• Review exception requests for completeness, risk relevance, and alignment with internal cybersecurity requirements
• Track and document exceptions in internal systems and ensure proper lifecycle management (creation, updates, closure)
• Support risk evaluations and decision-making by collecting relevant technical and business context
• Collaborate with cybersecurity domains (e.g., product security, infrastructure security) to ensure appropriate handling of exceptions

Your Profile

• university graduate in a relevant field (computer science, cybersecurity or similar) 
• basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts such as:
  • vulnerability management
  • risk management
  • incident handling
  • security controls, policies and EU Cybersecurity regulations
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English

Nice to have (tools & experience)

• First experience with ticketing or workflow tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
• Familiarity with documentation and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, SharePoint)
• Certification and/or experience in cybersecurity standards or frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001/27002, NIST)
• written and verbal communication skills in German
