We are looking for a Technical Curriculum Developer to design and deliver digital and blended learning solutions for global service and customer audiences. This role combines instructional design, technical content development, and knowledge enablement to create effective learning experiences that help service engineers, application specialists, business partners, and customers use and support our technologies safely and effectively. The role also supports content scalability, knowledge flow, and training adoption to ensure learners have timely access to the right information.
Key Responsibilities:
Content Development
- Design and develop digital and blended learning assets using current instructional design principles and methods.
- Translate complex technical information into clear, engaging learning content that supports self-directed learning and troubleshooting.
- Gather and validate source information through research and SME interviews to develop content, hands-on exercises, and assessments.
- Apply established templates, standards, and style guides to ensure content is consistent, accurate, and accessible for global audiences.
Knowledge Management & Enablement
- Organize and structure content for scalability, reuse, and efficient maintenance across digital learning and knowledge platforms.
- Use learner feedback, usage insights, and performance data to improve content relevance, quality, and effectiveness.
- Support a digital-first content strategy that enables continuous updates, easier access, and consistent learner experiences.
Adoption & Communication
- Support training rollout through stakeholder communication, showcases, and enablement sessions.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to align learning content with field needs, business priorities, and product updates.
- Encourage knowledge sharing and continuous improvement by promoting awareness and use of available learning resources.
Project Management
- Lead content development projects from scoping through deployment and evaluation, ensuring alignment with business and learner needs.
- Manage multiple content development initiatives simultaneously, balancing timelines, quality, and stakeholder expectations.
- Independently drive assigned projects from planning through execution, escalating risks and dependencies as needed.
- Maintain clear project plans, documentation, and stakeholder updates throughout the development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Technical Communication, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Some years of experience in instructional design, curriculum development, or content development, ideally in a regulated, healthcare, MedTech, or technical environment.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex technical information into clear, engaging learning content for diverse audiences.
- Experience developing digital and blended learning solutions, including hands-on exercises, assessments, and performance support materials.
- Proficiency with eLearning authoring tools (such as Articulate Rise/Storyline or similar), LMS platforms, and standard content development tools.
- Strong written, verbal, and stakeholder communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with subject matter experts and cross-functional teams. Professional proficiency in written and spoken English is required.
Preferred / Nice-to-Have
- Experience with knowledge management systems, content management systems, or structured authoring approaches (for example: SharePoint, Confluence, DITA, XML, or SCORM).
- Familiarity with service, technical support, field operations, or application training environments, particularly in life sciences, diagnostics, healthcare, or information technology.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple priorities, timelines, and stakeholders across global initiatives.
- Experience using learner feedback, performance data, or content usage insights to improve training effectiveness and content quality.
- Exposure to regulated content, quality requirements, or compliance-driven learning environments.
