As an IT Application Support Engineer, you will be supporting enterprise IT applications in the manufacturing area, used by Siemens Healthineers globally in Europe, Asia and the USA. Your tasks and responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
IT Support and Technical Expertise
- Ensure a SaaS (Software as a service) and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) based enterprise IT-Application availability 24/7 as well as the application performance
- Provide 2nd level support within the Incident Management process (e.g. trouble shooting)
- Provide 3rd level support within the Problem Management process (e.g. root cause analysis)
- Contribute to the application Change Management Process
- Take care on the Access Management process
- Contribute to the Knowledge, Release and Configuration Management processes
- Perform the Escalation Management process
- Ensure and control disaster recovery, backup and restore scenarios
- Configure and install enterprise IT applications and/or its components
- Coordinate special technical requests with internal and external IT service providers
- Contribute to implementation of IT application architecture (technology, interfaces, landscape)
Quality/Compliance Management
- Contribute to accurate and up-to-date quality and end-user documentation
- As part of the quality management process, prepare and assist in application tests
- Assist during internal and external audits
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science/Engineering and/or Business Management
- 2-5 years of experience in operational IT Support, especially in Incident and Problem Management
- Hands-on experience with web-based and cloud applications
- Superior verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on multicultural sensitivity
- Critical thinking and analysis skills with respect to varying customer and business processes and requirements as they relate to a larger picture
- Strong teamwork skills
- Structured, proactive, and self-directed work style
- Fluent in English
Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- German language skills would be a plus and highly appreciated
- Experience in Healthcare industry business processes, esp. in manufacturing
- Experience in the manufacturing area
- Availability for international business travel including Germany, USA and Asia

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards : starting from 2700EUR brutto /month + VAR*
