Do you want to help fight the world’s most threatening diseases and enable access to care for more people around the world?

At Siemens Healthineers, we pioneer breakthroughs in healthcare. For everyone. Everywhere.

We offer a flexible and dynamic working environment, empowering you to step beyond your comfort zone and grow both personally and professionally. If this sounds exciting, we invite you to join our Northwest Europe Zone Team as a Laboratory Automation IT Specialist.

In this role, you will be an integral member of the Laboratory Solutions Customer Services Automation IT Team, providing 1st and 2nd level support as well as project implementation support for our laboratory automation IT solutions across Norway.

This is a hybrid, field-based role, supporting customers both remotely and on-site throughout Norway. The position reports to the Customer Services Automation IT Operations Manager, Northwest Europe.

We embrace diversity and encourage different perspectives, backgrounds, and experiences. At Siemens Healthineers, you are empowered to be yourself and unleash your full potential—allowing innovation and new ideas to thrive.

  • Design, develop, and implement optimized laboratory automation workflows tailored to customer requirements.
  • Contribute to the design and establishment of IT infrastructure and network environments in line with Siemens Healthineers standards.
  • Engage directly with laboratory managers, supervisors, IT administrators, LIS vendors, third-party middleware providers, contractors, and facility engineering teams.
  • Perform pre-implementation activities, including sales support, pre-installation meetings, and technical demonstrations.
  • Assess and establish customer readiness for LIS connectivity, network security, and interface communication.
  • Define customer-specific workflow and configuration decisions (e.g. test setup, auto-verification) to ensure successful system integration.
  • Actively maintain and enhance customer satisfaction by identifying improvement areas, implementing preventive and corrective actions, and ensuring compliance with Siemens Healthineers’ quality and regulatory policies.
  • Resolve automation IT-related issues efficiently and in line with agreed service levels.

Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • Technical university degree or upper secondary education, preferably in IT, Informatics, Medical Technology, Medical Informatics, or Biomedical Engineering.
