About the role

As a Supplier Quality Manager, you’ll act as a value‑add orchestrator—defining and continuously improving the quality of our suppliers and their deliveries. You’ll play a key role in fostering strong cross‑functional collaboration across Procurement, Quality Management, Manufacturing & Logistics, R&D, and Project Management. With a focus on digitalisation, sustainability, and prevention‑oriented quality methods, you’ll ensure our supplier network meets the highest standards while enabling smarter, data‑driven decisions.

What you'll be doing

  • Define a value‑oriented Supplier Quality (SQ) strategy, including a clear digitalisation roadmap.
  • Drive efficiency through automated and digital end‑to‑end workflows to enhance information flow across the supply chain.
  • Identify deviations and lead risk management and mitigation actions to support informed decision‑making.
  • Ensure availability and intelligent use of supplier and process data through advanced analytics and AI.
  • Embed prevention‑oriented quality methods and risk management into supplier‑related projects and products.
  • Continuously improve the supplier quality aspects of the Integrated Management System (IMS) across the SQM community.
  • Initiate continuous improvement actions and lessons learned across SQM.
  • Contribute to the company’s sustainability strategy within the supply chain.
  • Drive SQM competency management, capability development, and talent attraction within Supplier Quality Management.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance across all procurement activities within cross‑functional teams, including supplier qualification and supplier evaluation.
  • Negotiate Quality Assurance Agreements (QAAs) with suppliers as defined within SQM processes and standards.
  • Support SQM objectives through robust supplier quality controlling and performance reporting, including warranty management and related KPIs.

What skills and experience you'll bring

Technical and functional expertise

  • Strong expertise in Supplier Quality Management, sustainability in the supply chain, and supplier development.
  • Advanced capability in contract management, non‑conformance management, and supplier audits/assessments.
  • Deep experience in Supply Chain Risk Management, including use of digital risk tools and dashboards.
  • Familiarity with material field strategy development and Procurement digital tools.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience applying smart data analytics techniques to complex datasets.

  • Strong analytical problem‑solving and decision‑making skills, anticipating risks and driving cross‑functional solutions.
  • A customer‑oriented mindset, going beyond standard practice to deliver value.
