Then come and join our global team as Test automation Architect (f/m/d) to be responsible for managing our testing acosystem.

 

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • Define and evolve test strategy and test architecture (incl. reuse patterns and framework governance), ensuring scalable, reusable, risk‑aligned testing across all levels and aligned with business/quality goals
  • Drive shift‑left testing and automation expansion (unit to E2E) by embedding testability requirements, quality criteria, and traceability early in requirements and design
  • Architect and govern CI/continuous integration test infrastructure, including tool/method evaluation and introduction (e.g., via prototyping) and integration of automated testing into the regular build/CI
  • Act as a technical sparring partner and coach, enabling engineers and architects, driving stakeholder alignment, and providing clear visibility into the test approach, progress, and results.
  • Establish coverage goals, doneness/quality metrics, and risk‑based approaches; continuously optimize coverage and degree of automation, considering lifecycle/cost impact and internal quality sustainability

Your qualifications and experience: 

  • Education: Degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics (or comparable)
  • Test strategy & test architecture: Define test levels, coverage targets/doneness, and design‑for‑testability; drive continuous improvement of the test approach and overall product quality (functional + non‑functional)
  • Shift‑left + traceability: Define testability requirements early (requirements/design) and enforce traceability mindset across testing artifacts
  • Automation engineering: Strong automation principles and high‑quality test code (clean code, OOP, reusable patterns, maintainability)
  • DevOps governance + “as‑code”: Expert in CI/CI pipelines, test evidence/traceability and configuration discipline—Pipeline/Test/Environment as Code for versioned, reproducible, auditable quality (incl. documentation/config management of test assets)
  • Technology & influence: Evaluate/select test tools/methods, understand domain constraints/standards, and coach stakeholders in diverse/global setups with strong communication and mentoring
  • Optional: ServiceNow + web basics for integration/E2E automation


Your attributes and skills: 

  • You already have extensive experience in international and intercultural cooperation. Therefore, you bring along business fluent English skills. German language skills are an advantage
  • You are characterized by strong analytical skills, initiative, motivation and the ability to work in a team
  • You work solution-oriented, creatively, and independently
  • You communicate confidently at all organizational and work culture levels and demonstrate your ability to assert yourself in the process
  • We win together - you focus on the further development of project members and less experienced project managers

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 3000 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
