The Sub Segment Head will be responsible for Leading the Scanner Applications portfolio within the Computed Tomography business line at Development Centre (DC). This role demands a strategic approach to aligning business objectives and operational activities with the broader goals of the DI-CT Business Line and DC.

Your tasks and responsibilities:
  • Business & Strategy: Establish and Scale the Scanner Application portfolio within the CT Segment. Actively participate in driving specific strategic programs at organizational level in DC.
  • People Leadership: Craft and execute a comprehensive talent management strategy that includes attraction, recruitment, nurturing, and retention of top talent, aligning with the organization's immediate and long-term objectives and leveraging its core competencies. Foster a culture of high engagement and High Performance within teams
  • Budget and operational responsibility: Responsible for planning and execution of programs, ensuring that projects are delivered on schedule, within the allocated budget, and in compliance with established process frameworks and support functions.
  • Innovation: Drive contributions to product, service, and process innovation through targeted projects and goals that impact business and organizational results (e.g., Software excellence, productivity, etc.).
  • Process Excellence: Ensure the quality of processes and drives process improvement initiatives. Together with Quality Management functions, institutionalizes, and monitors product quality.
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
  • Experience in various R&D and management functions, minimum 15 years of professional experience
  • Experience in research and development processes (Software-based solutions and products); in commercial topics; in implementation of strategies.
  • Exemplary people management, leadership skills, as well as coaching & team building skills. At least 8 years of functional leadership experience and managing people (including performance and competence management, personal development and coaching).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing and directing software projects
  • Excellent writing, presentation, commercial and communication skills.
  • Experience in Healthcare will be an added advantage
