Siemens Healthineers India is looking for a Business Controller for its Business Area (BA)/ Business Lines (BL) for Zone India (covers India, Bangladesh & Adjacent countries of Sri Lanka, Nepal, Maldives & Bhutan)

Position Summary: Design and accompany the management process of goal-finding, planning and controlling and thus co-responsible for reaching the business objectives along with Business Area (BA)/Business Line (BL) Manager

Position Location : Bangalore

Position Level : 07/08 – To be Decided based on candidate

Key Deliverables:

Forecasting & Budgeting

  • Lead Annual Budget, Monthly/Quarterly Forecasts, reporting and business controlling
  • Responsible along with BA/BL Manager to reach the yearly targets, highlighting risk & upsides
  • Partner with stakeholders to improve business KPI’s and business processes
  • Responsible for profitability and cost control for both Sales and Service
  • In-charge of Selling & General Administration expenses (SGA) controlling & Headcount Reporting and Analysis
  • Deliver monthly performance analysis for full P&L: Orders, Revenue, GM, EBIT, NCE, FCF vs Budget/Forecast/LY
  • Prepare Monthly/Quarterly/Yearly Business Review decks with variance insights, bridges, and KPIs

Commercial Finance

  • Ownership of the commercial finance process, ensure timely order booking till revenue recognition
  • Partner with Sales head on sales schemes, commercial deal reviews, pricing evaluations, and margin assessments, commercial agreements etc
  • Evaluate and conduct financial due diligence for new business partners across the Zone
  • Partner with Sales & Service teams on collections, credit notes, customer reconciliations, write-off decisions
  • Conduct profitability analysis across customers, products, and service revenue
  • Involve in deal commercials along with other stakeholders and help in decision making

Process Improvement & Ad-Hoc tasks

  • Drive automation, BI enhancements, and process improvements
  • Awareness and leverage of digital platforms for data analysis and management information
  • Ad-hoc tasks as required by the business

Key Stakeholders: Business Area Management, Country Management, Asia Pacific management, Business Line Managers, Headquarters, Bangladesh Team, Project Management, Logistics, Support functions (Accounts, Taxation, Treasury etc.) Offer to Order and Order to Cash Teams, Auditors

Experience & Qualification:

  • CA/ICWA/MBA (Finance) and 8-10 years of experience in FP&A, Sales Controlling, or Business Finance
  • Strong skills in financial modelling, forecasting, pricing, and commercial finance
  • Proficient in Excel, Power BI/Qliksense, SAP
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication
  • Team handling experience for a small team size of 2-4

Key skills : Excellent analytical skills, stakeholder management, communication & networking skills. Proficient in MS Excel & PowerPoint. Working knowledge in SAP preferred
