Then come and join our global team as Senior Communications Specialist Media Relations & Corporate Topics (f/m/d) to help us further increase the visibility of our innovations and actively shape the future of healthcare worldwide through strategic communications, compelling storytelling, and strong media relationships.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.


Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.

This position is full-time or part-time with a minimum of 35h/week.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You play a key role as a spokesperson within the Content Lab Corporate Newsroom and drive both internal and external strategic communications to strengthen our position as a leading MedTech company.
  • You develop and maintain strong relationships with key trade, business, and technology journalists, expand our media network, and coordinate the media relations strategy and its execution.
  • You are responsible for creating, publishing, and continuously enhancing high-quality press materials, monitoring media and industry trends, and deriving recommendations to strengthen brand perception.
  • You organize press events, media briefings, and interviews, while shaping effective communication between Siemens Healthineers and relevant media representatives.
  • You are responsible for the press website and drive its continuous editorial and strategic optimization.
  • You lead communications on business-critical topics, particularly corporate strategy, M&A activities, and transformation programs, and develop narratives, key messages, and communication plans in close collaboration with senior stakeholders.
  • You actively advance the further development of the Content Lab, shape formats, workflows, and quality standards, and ensure integrated communications strategies across a variety of internal and external channels together with multiple stakeholders.

    Your qualifications and experience:

    • You hold a successfully completed degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field.
    • You bring many years of professional experience in media relations, public relations, corporate communications, or journalism within a corporate environment, ideally within the healthcare, medical technology, or technology sector.
    • You possess a proven and well-established network of relevant media contacts, as well as a comprehensive understanding of the national and international media landscape.
    • You have outstanding communication and editorial skills and have successfully translated complex topics into clear, compelling, and audience-focused content.
    • You have advanced knowledge of modern communications tools, including social media management, digital content creation, media analytics, and data-driven communications management.
    • You have extensive professional experience and additional qualifications in this field but do not hold a university degree? We still look forward to receiving your application.

        Depending on the experience and qualifications background of the applicant, task enrichment into the area above the general pay scale is possible.
