Strategy Manager (f/m/d) – New Business and Partnerships

Then come and join our global team as Strategy Manager (f/m/d) – New Business and Partnerships, to identify, develop, and scale new business opportunities and partnerships aligned with our strategic priorities.
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You independently lead and own initiatives and incubation projects aligned with our Elevating strategy at a senior level, partnering with our business lines / horizontals to turn innovation and key strategic priorities into tangible business outcomes
- You autonomously drive and support strategic projects across partnerships, investments, and strategic opportunities
- You coordinate internal and external stakeholders to identify new business opportunities and deliver successful project outcomes while managing complexity and ambiguity
- You assess market trends, emerging technologies, and business models and derive strategic concepts aligned with our strategic priorities.
- You create compelling strategic narratives and decision briefs for executive leadership.
Your qualifications and experience:
- You have successfully completed a master’s degree in sciences, engineering or business, ideally with a medical focus and subsequent doctorate or MBA.
- Extensive experience in clinically focused or business-oriented roles in Pharma, Biotech, or MedTech, complemented by proven expertise in strategy, consulting, business development, or innovation management, preferably in a top-tier consulting or corporate environment
- You have a proven track record of translating clinical insights and emerging trends into actionable business opportunities and strategic initiatives with measurable impact
- You have successfully led cross-functional teams of strategy and subject-matter experts, as well as external partners, demonstrating influence and results without direct authority
Your attributes and skills:
- You communicate and present effectively at (Executive) Management level, are fluent in English, and ideally possess German language skills
- You demonstrate strong strategic and analytical thinking, complemented by creativity and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as experience leveraging AI agents, dashboards, and data visualization tools to drive insights and support decision-making.
- You combine a structured, well-organized working style with strong attention to detail and a clear focus on quality.
- You bring a highly motivated, performance-driven mindset and the intrinsic motivation to challenge the status quo, pioneer new approaches, and generate insights in new domains
- You thrive in cross‑functional environments and manage diverse stakeholders with confidence.
