Then come and join our global team as Global Head of Real Estate Operations (f/m/d).

The Global Head of Real Estate Operations (f/m/d) is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic direction, operational excellence, high property availability and long-term sustainability of a global real estate portfolio across Asia Pacific, Americas, and EMEA.

This role integrates strategic oversight with hands-on execution, ensuring the effective operation of all assets within a long-term, integrated operating model that prioritizes sustainability, resilience, and efficiency. The position operates within a matrix organization, requiring strong alignment with governance frameworks and close collaboration across key business functions.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You translate the global real estate strategy into executable operational plans across all regions
  • You oversee global Facility Management and Property Management activities across all regions
  • You standardize processes, tools, and KPIs to drive operational consistency and performance
  • You implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery and tenant experience
  • You lead the rapid deployment of AI-driven solutions across operational functions
  • You identify opportunities for automation, predictive maintenance, and data-driven decision-making
  • You ensure successful adoption of digital tools within accelerated timelines
  • You manage a global ecosystem of service providers across the platform
  • You drive vendor performance, accountability, and alignment with strategic objectives
  • You lead a team of +300 employees within a complex matrix organization with clearly defined roles and responsibilities
  • You collaborate closely with Asset Management & Transactions to align operational performance with investment strategies
  • You partner with Development & Construction to ensure seamless transition from project delivery to operations
  • You ensure adherence to governance frameworks and compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
  • You maintain compliance with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk management standards)
  • You embed sustainable development principles into all operational processes, including energy efficiency, carbon reduction, and resource optimization
  • You drive the implementation of resilient building strategies, ensuring assets are prepared for climate risks, regulatory changes, and evolving market demands
  • You establish long-term lifecycle management approaches that balance performance, sustainability, cost efficiency and fulfilling user requirements.

Key Performance Indicators:

  • You execute the global operational and sustainability strategy
  • You achieve financial and operational KPIs across all regions
  • You reduce operational costs and improve efficiency
  • You proceed in sustainability targets (e.g., energy, carbon, resource usage)
  • You successfully implement AI and digital initiatives within defined timelines
  • You ensure vendor performance and service quality across the global platform
  • You ensure resilience readiness and risk mitigation across the portfolio

Your qualifications and experience:
  • You have extensive leadership experience (+100 employees) in global real estate operations, including Facility and Property Management
  • You have a proven track record in managing large-scale, multi-regional portfolios
  • You possess a strong understanding of sustainable real estate practices and resilience strategies
  • You are experienced in working within complex, matrixed organizations
  • You convince with a strong leadership presence and a high level of accountability and ownership
  • You collaborate and influence across multiple functions and regions
  • Your leverage exceptional communication skills to ensure successful stakeholder management
  • You think strategically and execute with strong delivery capabilities
  • You demonstrate high adaptability and a transformation-driven mindset
  • You are willing to travel internationally on a regular basis
