Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • As part of the Center of Excellence for Data and AI you will support the implementation of PoCs and contribute to exploring new AI technologies by assessing tools like Databricks to help to identify practical solutions
  • You will help us to develop and implement Python automation scripts to enhance platform automation capabilities
  • You will support in maintaining and updating YAML configurations for pipeline logic, focusing on Databricks development enhancements
  • You will assist in preparing presentations and documentation related to the AI platform, contributing to the creation of a comprehensive platform usage demonstration

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You are studying Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science or a related course of studies and you are for a long-term available (at least one year)
  • You have good programming knowledge, preferably in Python or Node.js and enjoy applying it to practical tasks
  • You have first experience with AI-related technologies or frameworks (e.g. Streamlit, Django or other Python-based frameworks, as well as tools like Docker or Azure)
  • You are interested in learning about automation workflows, CI/CD, or cloud-based applications
  • Ideally you are experienced in working with AI-based technologies (e.g. Large Language Models)
  • It is a plus to have basic experiences with agile way of working (e.g., SCRUM)


Your attributes and skills:

  • You have very good English skills; German would be a plus
  • You are passionate about automating manual workloads 
  • You are interested in the up-and-coming innovations in the field of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning
  • You combine technical understanding with strong communication skills
  • You work reliably and independently, while collaborating closely with your team to understand and implement requirements and demands
