Then come and join our global team as Senior Software Developer (f/m/d) for Digitalization in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), to deliver tailored solutions to meet the diverse needs of our customers.


Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.


Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You continuously enhance and expand the software platform for our digital MR application ecosystem.
  • By collaborating closely with internal development teams and international researchers, you make sure that our software platform meets the requirements of our users effectively.
  • Together with the agile team, you are in charge for all additional software development activities such as exploration, refinement, testing, documentation, and monitoring.
  • You ensure software quality and maintainability of the ecosystem through principles and technologies of modern software engineering, such as Agile methods, Test-Driven Development, automation, DevOps, CI/CD, and containerization.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You have a university degree in computer science, medical informatics or a related field with focus on software engineering.
  • We also welcome applicants with a bachelor's degree or completed vocational training and further education, combined with extensive professional experience in this field.
  • You have hands-on experience in designing scalable software platforms for digital services, including API design, containerization and integration of third-party systems.
  • Your broad understanding of modern software development methods has been demonstrated by you through numerous practical applications programmed in C#
  • You have a good understanding of modern tech stacks like Agile, DevOps, AI-assisted development, big data, data-driven design, Docker, Kubernetes, Angular, and cloud computing.
  • Experience with MRI imaging techniques, MRI physics and digital image processing in C++ or Python is highly desirable.

  • You possess excellent English skills for smooth team internal communication as well as for international exchange, e.g., with India. Additional knowledge in German is considered a plus.
