Rewards Systems & Process Specialist (w/m/d)

Then come and join our global team as Total Rewards Systems & Process Specialist (f/m/d), to drive the optimization, standardization, and digital enablement of our Total Rewards processes.
In this role, you will contribute to the design, documentation, and continuous improvement of compensation and benefits processes, with a strong focus on HR systems (e.g. Workday) and operational excellence. You will work closely with Total Rewards, HR Operations, HR IT, and external partners to ensure efficient, scalable, and compliant solutions.
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You analyze, optimize, and standardize Total Rewards processes with a strong focus on system efficiency and automation.
- You own and continuously improve global Compensation and Benefits processes and their supporting technology solutions, with Workday as the primary platform, ensuring scalability, data quality, compliance with established standards, and alignment with Total Rewards policies and business requirements.
- You translate business requirements into technical specifications, system configurations, and workflow designs.
- You design and maintain end-to-end HR process documentation, including workflows, integrations, and data flows.
- You drive automation, system integration, and AI-supported process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and data quality.
- You translate Total Rewards data into meaningful dashboards, analytics and decision-support tools to enhance business insights, operational effectiveness and data quality.
- You collaborate closely with Total Rewards, HR Operations, HR IT, and external vendors on system and process enhancements.
- You support change management, user enablement, and the implementation of new system functionalities.
Your qualifications and experience:
- You have a master’s degree in information systems, Business Administration, Human Resources or a related field.
- You have several years of experience in HR Technology, HR Systems, HRIS, or HR process optimization roles with a strong systems focus.
- You have hands-on experience with HR systems, ideally Workday Advanced Compensation and/or Benefits, including process configuration and workflow management.
- You have a strong understanding of HR system architectures, data structures, integrations, and end-to-end process flows.
- You have experience with process automation, digital workflows, APIs, or system integration initiatives within HR environments.
- You are familiar with AI-enabled tools, analytics, or intelligent automation solutions within HR environments.
- You are experienced in working in cross-functional projects involving HR, HR IT, Operations, and external vendors.
- You possess good project management skills and familiarity with agile project delivery methodologies.
- You have experience supporting HR transformation, shared services, or digital HR initiatives is considered a plus.
- We also welcome applicants with a bachelor’s degree combined with additional professional experience in this field.

- You have fluent English language skills (verbal & written); German is a plus.
- You are able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
- You have strong project management and communication skills in a global environment.
