Then come and join our global team as Image Quality Specialist for Interventional Angiography Systems (f/m/d).

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.


Your tasks and responsibilities:


  • You will support customers in image quality (IQ)–related challenges and questions.
  • You will accompany clinical trials and monitoring phases and ensure the optimization of the image chain (including simulation).
  • You will represent customer requirements during the (pre-)development of new image processing algorithms and new imaging concepts.
  • You will test the imaging chain configurations (physics and image processing) for new products and contribute to the release process.
  • You coach internal colleagues on IQ matters and conduct internal image quality training sessions.
  • You will work in an agile, cross-functional, and international development team, collaborating closely with stakeholders from Research & Development, Innovation, User Experience, and Customer Service.

Your qualifications and experience:


  • You hold a completed Master’s or Diploma degree in Medicine with several years of professional experience, or a bachelor’s degree or completed vocational education and training (e.g., as an MTRA / application specialist) combined with additional relevant professional experience in this field.
  • We also welcome applicants with a completed Master’s or Diploma degree in a scientific or technical discipline (such as Physics, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Medical Engineering, or similar) and several years of professional experience. A PhD in one of these fields would be an advantage.
  • You have experience advising physicians during angiographic procedures, ideally in interventional radiology and cardiology.
  • You possess very good knowledge of medical imaging systems, X-ray physics, and 2D image processing.
  • You are familiar with the challenges of the interventional clinical environment and ideally possess medical domain knowledge.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and knowledge of the ARTIS product family as well as competitor products are considered an advantage.


Your attributes and skills:


  • You have intercultural experience and possess business‑fluent English skills, enabling you to operate successfully in an international environment; good German skills are an advantage.
  • National and international business travel is a welcome change for you.
  • You have strong communication skills and can interact professionally and purposefully with physicians and team members.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical abilities and can derive concrete solutions from vague or incomplete problem descriptions.
  • You have a structured and goal‑oriented working style, a high level of initiative and assertiveness, and a strong customer focus.
  • You are quick to familiarize yourself with new image processing tools and the challenges of working in a clinical environment.
  • We are passionate about learning – you stay up to date with current trends and potential in medical imaging and continuously challenge the status quo.
