Your tasks and responsibilities:
- Medical & Scientific Leadership: Serve as the global medical expert for Cardiovascular Care; Develop, align and execute cross Healthineers medical affairs strategy for Cardiovascular Care; Provide clinical input on product strategy, clinical value propositions, and innovation priorities. Ensure medical accuracy and scientific integrity across all internal and external communications.
- Clinical Evidence: Lead clinical evidence generation strategies; Oversee clinical studies, research grants, and translational research initiatives. Oversee scientific publications at major Cardiology and radiology congresses. Monitor emerging clinical guidelines, standards of care, and competitive evidence in Cardiovascular Care.
- External Engagement & KOL Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with global and regional Key Opinion Leaders; Act as a scientific spokesperson in advisory boards, symposia, and scientific exchange meetings. Drive advocacy for guidelines and reimbursement adoption with clinical societies and government affairs. Develop and own strategy and interaction with societies.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with internal stakeholders to translate unmet clinical needs into imaging and AI-driven stroke solutions. Collaborate with Marketing on health economics, outcomes data, and value messaging. Enable Commercial teams through clinical education and congress support.
- Leadership & Governance: Build, lead, and mentor a high-performing medical affairs team; Establish medical governance processes, including review of promotional and non-promotional materials. Ensure compliance with global regulations, industry codes, and company policies.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have a university degree in medicine, life sciences, or a related field (MD, PhD, PharmD, or equivalent preferred) in Cardiovascular Care
- You have many years of senior experience in Medical Affairs, clinical research, or related roles within the MedTech or healthcare industry
- You have Clinical training or a strong background in Cardiovascular Care.
- You have a proven track record in evidence generation, clinical study oversight, and regulatory compliance
- You have a strong understanding of MedTech product lifecycle management, clinical development, and market access strategies
- You have profound experience in stakeholder engagement, including interactions with physicians, key opinion leaders, and scientific societies
- You possess demonstrated senior leadership experience in cross-functional collaboration (R&D, Marketing, Quality, Regulatory)
- You have a strong track record of external scientific engagement
- You have senior experience in guideline frameworks, reimbursement, health economics
Your attributes and skills:
- You have fluent English language skills (verbal & written); good German language skills are a plus
- You have a strategic mindset with the ability to influence across functions and senior leadership
- You built & develop high performing teams cross-Business Line, cross-clinical segments
