Then come and join our global team as Healthcare Consulting Services Zone Lead – Central & Eastern Europe (f/m/d). This senior leadership role involves overseeing consulting projects, driving strategic initiatives, and building strong relationships with customers across the region and developing a high-performing consulting team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
This position can also be located in Eschborn (Germany), Vienna (Austria), Zurich (Switzerland) or other locations in the CEE Zone.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
You will lead a highly skilled expert team of healthcare consultants who all have a passion for optimizing laboratory diagnostic service delivery.
Strategic Leadership:
- You will develop and implement the overall strategy for the laboratory diagnostics, healthcare consulting practice in CEE.
- You will identify market opportunities, emerging trends, and competitive landscape to drive business development and consulting solutions.
- You will continue to evolve the laboratory operational excellence consulting to deliver best in class services for our customers.
- You will develop and deliver a best-in-class diagnostics strategic consulting portfolio which meets the needs of the CEE market. Lead strategic projects, building and maintaining strong relationships with healthcare providers, payers, and other key stakeholders, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction
- You will collaborate with senior leadership to define long-term objectives and goals for healthcare consulting solutions in CEE.
- Thought Leadership: Represent the company at industry conferences and events, contributing to thought leadership and enhancing the company’s reputation.
- You will ensure the successful execution of consulting engagements, including scoping, resource allocation, budgeting, and performance management.
- You will provide leadership and mentorship to the consulting team and foster a high-performance culture ensuring continuous learning and professional growth.
- You will establish KPIs and metrics to track success, outcomes, and overall performance of the consulting practice.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all consulting activities comply with healthcare regulations and ethical standards, mitigating risks for clients and the company.
- You will stay current on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes within the laboratory diagnostics space.
- You will drive thought leadership by contributing to industry publications, speaking at conferences, and developing innovative consulting frameworks.
- Through consulting engagements, you will help laboratory leaders to identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and enhanced service delivery.
Your qualifications and experience:
- You have a university degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Public Health, or a related field; master’s degree preferred.
- You have many years of experience in healthcare consulting, with significant experience in a leadership role and a focus on the European market.
- You have previous experience with large-scale healthcare projects and consulting engagements in CEE.
- You are familiar with value-based care models and healthcare reform initiatives.
- You have in-depth understanding of European healthcare systems, regulations, and market dynamics
- You possess PMP, Lean Six Sigma, or other relevant certifications.
- You have proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g., Excel, Tableau, etc.).
Your attributes and skills:
- You are fluent in English and German language (verbal & written)
- You possess strong strategic thinking, leadership, and project management skills.
- You have excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.
