Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.


Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.


This position is full-time or part-time with a minimum of 30h/week.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You collaborate closely with Clinical Solutions, Product Management, Research & Development, and Quality Management teams, providing valuable medical input for product design, clinical evaluation activities, and regulatory decision-making processes.
  • You drive the assessment of clinical safety and performance by supporting claims definition within requirements engineering and marketing while evaluating their clinical relevance.
  • You provide expert guidance to clinical evaluation authors, verify clinical evidence, and perform project-specific reviews and approvals in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) requirements.
  • You contribute medical expertise to health risk assessments, product testing, and Post-Market Clinical Follow-up (PMCF) activities, helping to ensure compliance with clinical and regulatory requirements.
  • You support the investigation of customer complaints and the assessment of customer feedback, deriving medically sound recommendations and conclusions.
  • You represent your area of responsibility in internal and external meetings, audits, and regulatory interactions.
  • You proactively monitor medical trends, emerging technologies, regulatory developments, and best practices in clinical research methodologies.
  • You develop clinical study protocols in accordance with scientific standards and applicable global and local regulatory frameworks.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a degree in Medicine, ideally complemented by completed specialist training in Radiology.
  • You bring several years of professional experience as a physician in a clinical environment.
  • Preferably, you have a good understanding of the European Medical Device Regulation (MDR) and clinical evaluation requirements for medical devices.
  • You have proven experience in the design and execution of clinical studies as well as in writing and publishing scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Experience in diagnostic imaging, particularly Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), is considered a strong advantage.

  • You possess excellent presentation, communication, and stakeholder management skills and are comfortable working in an international and cross-functional environment.
  • You have business-fluent English language skills; German language skills are considered an asset.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical thinking and a structured approach to solving complex challenges.
  • You work proactively, independently, and with a strong focus on delivering results.
