System Product Manager - AI Workflow Platform (f/m/d)

Then come and join our global team as System Product Manager (f/m/d) AI Workflow Platform to own and shape a secure, scalable AI Workflow Platform that powers clinical workflows across cloud, edge, and on-prem environments.
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You own and continuously refine the system-level product vision for the AI Workflow Platform, translating high-level use cases into clear, actionable requirements and backlog items.
- You ensure end-to-end consistency across runtime environments, integration layers, and platform capabilities.
- You lead the platform across the AI workflow domain, overseeing runtime environments (cloud, edge, on‑prem, hybrid), APIs/SDKs, and core platform services such as configuration, monitoring, and execution control.
- You manage the lifecycle of AI components, including versioning, rollout, and rollback strategies.
- You shape identity, security, and compliance concepts, ensuring seamless integration with clinical IT systems and alignment with privacy, regulatory, and security standards.
- You collaborate cross-functionally with cybersecurity, legal, regulatory, engineering, and architecture teams to deliver a secure-by-design platform with centralized identity and access management.
- You drive the end-to-end product lifecycle, from concept and launch to scaling and continuous iteration, including go-to-market planning and performance tracking.
- You ensure seamless system integration and stakeholder alignment, working closely with engineering, clinical experts, and product teams while managing dependencies across a complex ecosystem.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You hold a university degree in a technical, data-driven, or healthcare-related field (e.g. Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, (Biomedical) Engineering, Medical/Health Technology) or a comparable field.
- You bring many years of experience in Product Management or System Product Management for complex software or platform products with multiple dependencies.
- You have very successfully led end-to-end market introductions of software or platform products, from concept to launch.
- You demonstrate deep understanding of modern architectures, including cloud, edge, on-premise, and hybrid environments.
- In addition, you bring a strong background in healthcare IT, medical software, or clinical workflows, combined with a comprehensive understanding of industry-specific requirements; ideally, you are also familiar with relevant regulatory frameworks (e.g., MDR, FDA, IEC 62304, ISO 13485) and cybersecurity standards.
- You are experienced with API-driven integrations and platform ecosystems, ideally within AI or automation workflows.

- You excel in communication, especially in an international environment, thanks to your very good English language skills; ideally, you also have very good German language skills.
- You apply strong system thinking and abstraction skills, translating complexity into clear, structured, and actionable product definitions.
- You excel in stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership, navigating diverse teams and aligning complex interests.
- You combine strategic thinking with strong execution capabilities, driving initiatives from vision to tangible results.
- You enjoy operating in a fast-evolving environment, with a strong willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
