Then come and join our global team as Commodity Manager (f/m/d) to further drive the global sourcing strategy for Accessory Solutions, lead strategic negotiations, continuously develop the supplier landscape, and, together with international stakeholders, ensure cost efficiency, quality, and supply resilience with a high degree of autonomy and strong cross‑functional collaboration.

Choose the best place for your work  Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.


This position is full-time or part-time with a minimum of 30h/week.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You own the global commodity strategy for Accessory Solutions.
  • You are responsible for coordinating and consolidating demand across regions to leverage economies of scale, optimize total cost of ownership, and ensure supply security.
  • You lead and conduct strategic negotiations on prices, contracts, and framework agreements across countries and business lines.
  • You drive early supplier involvement and work together with the team on both technical and commercial decisions, ensuring a sustainable supplier strategy.
  • In addition, you contribute to performance, risk, innovation, and sustainability initiatives and actively support cost and portfolio optimization programs.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a completed Master’s or Diploma degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a comparable field of study.
  • You bring several years of professional experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or commodity management within a matrix organization.
  • We also welcome applicants with a Bachelor's degree or a completed vocational training and further education, combined with additional relevant professional experience in this field.
  • You have experience in strategic negotiations, contract and supplier management, as well as a basic understanding of end‑to‑end procurement processes.
  • You are familiar with SAP and MS Office applications and use them confidently in your daily work.
  • Nice to have: Basic knowledge of or interest in AI and automation solutions.


Your attributes and skills:

  • You have very good English skills; German skills are a plus, and additional languages are welcome.
  • You are willing to travel approximately 15% (national and international well planned in advance).
  • You are interested in strategic procurement and value‑creation topics and work in an analytical, independent, and structured manner.
  • You have strong communication skills, enjoy working in international, cross‑functional teams, and actively contribute to shared results.
  • You have basic knowledge of markets, cost, and risk analysis and are interested in emerging technological trends.
  • Learn passionately: You bring enthusiasm to new topics and enjoy continuously developing both professionally and personally.
