Then come and join our global team as Software Validation Manager (f/m/d) within the Business Line Digital & Automation in the Clinical & Efficiency area.


Our modern AI Orchestration Platform offers outstanding efficiency, from examination to reporting, and is universally available on customer-installed systems, in the cloud, and on premises. We offer our customers a steadily growing portfolio of in-house and partner applications integrated into this platform on Digital Marketplace.


Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You act as the Validation Manager for our clinical reading and reporting infrastructure (cloud, edge, on-premises) with a focus on external applications in the Digital Marketplace.
  • You evaluate, validate, and maintain updates, especially for AI-based applications from our external business partners, and serve as their technical contact person.
  • You interact with our partners regarding business growth and provide solution-oriented support for technical and IT security issues.
  • You develop a process to ensure the sustainable and efficient approval of applications and ensure transparent documentation within our quality process.
  • You design and optimize test and validation processes for a dynamically growing partner platform.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a university degree in a health-related field, ideally with a focus on medical technology, software engineering, physics, or an equivalent discipline.
  • You have many years of experience in the digital environment and possess a deep understanding of software development and digitalization in enterprises, preferably in healthcare.
  • You demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the development and success criteria of digital platforms.
  • You have very profound knowledge of security requirements in software development and clinical information systems, both cloud and on-premises.
  • You have development or system testing experience in Windows- or Linux-based applications and their container technologies (e.g., App-V, Linux Docker, Kubernetes), and you can already show relevant experience in application hosting.

Your attributes and skills:

  • You are confident when operating in our international and intercultural environment thanks to your fluent English skills. German skills would be an advantage.
  • You enjoy challenging the status quo and bringing innovative ideas that contribute to process efficiency.
  • You can naturally build close and long-term cooperation and are able to communicate clearly and convincingly with partners and internal stakeholders.
  • You work precisely and with attention to detail, especially when defining and documenting approval criteria.
  • You show flexibility and problem-solving skills to adjust priorities and develop pragmatic solutions under changing conditions.
