Then come and join our global team as Senior Software Engineer – Interventional Therapy Systems (f/m/d) to lead the design of sustainable test architectures for connected medical systems, drive quality engineering excellence, and ensure compliance with security, stability, and regulatory requirements.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You design, document, and implement sustainable test architectures for infrastructure components focusing on connectivity between medical devices and applications. 
  • You enable testability through design, working closely with software and system architects.
  • You contribute to the development of key components and simulators for medical applications.      
  • You provide technical leadership on testing practices and quality engineering. 
  • You ensure that quality, security, stability, and regulatory requirements are met in a systematic and scalable manner.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a degree in computer science, software engineering, or a comparable qualification.
  • You have many years of experience in software development, testing and test automation.
  • You routinely use AI-powered development tools in your daily work and are familiar with agentic development.
  • You have a comprehensive understanding of test strategies, test design, and test management for containerized applications.
  • You have comprehensive knowledge C#, .NET & C++, as well as practical experience with Angular.
  • You have experience with the handling of non-functional requirements, ideally also in the context of real-time systems.
  • Ideally, you are familiar with regulated development environments.

  • You strive for continuous improvement and embrace the principles of software craftsmanship.
  • You communicate complex technical content clearly and translate it into clear, practical documentation.
  • You are confident in an international environment thanks to your fluency in English; knowledge of German is a plus.
