Then come and join our global team as Multiphysics Simulation Engineer (f/m/d) to analyze complex structural, thermal, and fluid-related issues holistically, independently drive simulation-based development projects, and significantly contribute through your expertise to the quality and successful implementation of innovative products.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.


Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.


This position is full-time or part-time with a minimum of 30h/week.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • As a Multiphysics Simulation Engineer, you independently take on demanding structural, thermal, and fluid-related development tasks and are responsible for their successful implementation as an integral part of our product development.
  • You independently analyze, process, and coordinate complex structural, thermal, and fluid-related challenges.
  • In your role as an expert, you work within cross-functional development teams, provide technical leadership on simulation-related topics, and act as a key interface to internal and external partners both nationally and internationally.
  • You coordinate simulation-related project management activities and are responsible for meeting time, cost, and quality targets, including budget responsibility, while ensuring structured project documentation.
  • In addition, you are responsible for acquiring new simulation projects, ensuring their successful execution, and maintaining the full satisfaction of all involved stakeholders.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a degree in engineering, e.g. mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, automotive engineering, computational engineering, simulation technology, or a comparable relevant field.
  • You bring many years of professional experience in international project work, particularly in the field of FEM and CFD simulation as well as related hardware development.
  • You possess solid fundamental knowledge of physics along with deep technical expertise, and you apply this successfully within a modern tool environment, e.g. using NX Simcenter, Ansys, STAR‑CCM+, or FLOEFD; ideally, you also have experience with Teamcenter.
  • You are experienced in independently managing projects and have a proven track record in acquiring new and follow-up business.
  • In addition, you have comprehensive knowledge of material properties and materials science, as well as ideally strong understanding of development and manufacturing processes.
  • You stand out through your ability to integrate new technologies, innovations, and ways of working within the field of simulation.

  • You have excellent communication skills as well as strong intercultural awareness, and you possess very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
