In this key role – located in the central strategy department of the Business Area and reporting directly to the Head of Strategy – you will actively shape the future of our Business Area by driving strategic partnerships and M&A initiatives forward.
Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.
Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- You have the governance for strategic planning and decision-making processes in the context of partnerships and M&A for our Business Area Advanced Therapies.
- You manage the pipeline and internal reporting for strategic partnerships and M&A – including preparing the Deal Book and relevant content for the strategic planning process.
- You coordinate strategic partnerships and M&A projects – including venture capital initiatives – in close collaboration with our operational units.
- You act as a central interface to the relevant central functions at Siemens Healthineers.
- You are responsible for developing appropriate transaction structures, managing due‑diligence processes, and reviewing business plans for plausibility – including close alignment within the Business Area.
- You lead or support strategic projects that contribute to decisions on partnerships or M&A activities.
- You facilitate internal steering meetings related to partnerships and M&A and represent the Business Area in the relevant decision-making boards.

Your qualifications and experience:
- You have successfully completed a university degree, e.g., in Business Administration, or hold a comparable professional qualification.
- You have many years of professional experience in a corporate strategy environment, a management consultancy, a central M&A department, or an investment bank.
- You have proven knowledge of project management as well as in accounting and corporate valuation.
- Experience in the MedTech industry and an understanding of therapy markets are beneficial.

- You communicate confidently in English. As our team language is German, you also have good German skills.
- You have strong analytical abilities and can quickly understand complex topics.
- You think strategically and apply this thinking flexibly and situationally – even spontaneously.
- You convince others with excellent communication and presentation skills, both globally and at C‑level, and you navigate confidently in a matrix organization.
- You work proactively, results‑oriented, and with high quality standards – always in alignment with relevant decision-makers.
- You can build internal and external networks to effectively gather information and drive projects forward.
