Then come and join our global team as Global Service Line Head (f/m/d) for Oncology Consulting, to lead and develop the global setup for oncology consulting while establishing a global network of oncology consultants across the company.

This position can be filled at any Siemens Healthineers location within the EMEA region.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will provide strategic and functional leadership for the global Oncology Consulting Service Line to drive growth and expansion in line with the company’s strategic business plan.
  • You will be responsible for developing and continuously refining the strategy, mission, and value proposition of the Oncology Consulting Service Line, fully aligned with the Siemens Healthineers Consulting strategy.
  • You will build and leverage strong cross-company and cross-regional networks, working closely with country organizations to develop pipelines, mature opportunities, and establish long-term strategic partnerships with key stakeholders.
  • You will define the service line’s global go-to-market strategy and market prioritization, ensuring alignment with regional priorities, customer needs, and growth potential across mature and emerging markets.
  • You will contribute to the development of proposals and opportunity shaping by providing strategic guidance, technical expertise, and methodological input.
  • You will build and maintain close alignment with internal oncology key subject matter experts to promote methodological consistency, best-practice sharing, and knowledge development across regions, including the creation and dissemination of oncology-specific frameworks, tools, and consulting approaches.
  • You will support capability building, talent development, and knowledge transfer across all regions, fostering excellence, consistency, and innovation within the global oncology consulting community.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a university degree in medicine, health sciences, health administration, or a related field.
  • You have many years of consulting and leadership experience, including experience in the healthcare market (ideally with hospitals, clinics, or health systems), and a proven track record of advising hospital executives, health systems, or government stakeholders on large-scale healthcare initiatives.
  • Your hands-on clinical background provides you with strong credibility and a deep understanding of clinical realities.
  • You possess deep expertise in performance improvement methodologies and healthcare processes, with the ability to translate technological and digital advancements into tangible clinical pathway improvements across oncology areas (e.g., breast, lung, prostate).
  • You have exposure to multiple healthcare systems globally and maintain a strong network of senior leaders within national healthcare systems or hospital industries, combined with a demonstrated ability to build and grow a consulting practice in at least one European country.
  • You have a deep understanding of the cancer care continuum and the rapidly evolving global oncology ecosystem.

  • As a leader, you are experienced in guiding teams through change in complex, matrix-driven environments.
  • You demonstrate outstanding communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a strong advantage.
  • You excel at stakeholder engagement, communication, and networking, with the ability to connect credibly and effectively across clinical, executive, and governmental audiences.
  • You bring strong sales expertise and outstanding business acumen, with a clear ability to link strategic vision to commercial outcomes.
  • You adopt a customer-centric and entrepreneurial mindset, think creatively, execute decisively, and analyze complex challenges with rigor and pragmatism.
  • You are a collaborative team player who influences and supports colleagues to achieve shared goals across geographies and functions.
  • You are comfortable working in diverse, international environments and are open to frequent travel.
