Do you want to help create the future of healthcare? Our name, Siemens Healthineers, was selected to honor our people who dedicate their energy and passion to this cause. It reflects their pioneering spirit combined with our long history of engineering in the ever-evolving healthcare industry.

We offer you a flexible and dynamic environment with opportunities to go beyond your comfort zone in order to grow personally and professionally. Sounds interesting?

Then come and join our global team as Cybersecurity Professional (f/m/d) for Governance Processes and Control Management to actively shape the provision of Corporate Cybersecurity services in the area of Governance.

In this role, you will work closely with cybersecurity and quality teams across all business areas, functions, and regions, and explain our policies and standards as needed. We operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that requires a high level of adaptability to continuously evolving processes and technologies related to new threats, risks, and controls.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.

Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You will coordinate the integration of external laws, standards, and regulations into our Control Framework.
  • You will take responsibility for and coordinate Cybersecurity documentation within our Control Framework.
  • You will act as a “human in the loop” and are therefore responsible for verifying the outcomes of our AI-based mapping of external laws and standards to our internal Cybersecurity Controls.
  • You are responsible for managing and aligning Cybersecurity Risks associated with our controls.
  • You also coordinate collaboration with our Enablement Team to communicate changes within our Framework.
  • You independently prepare reports and communicate the results to various internal and/or external stakeholders (e.g., management, other departments).

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a degree in (business) informatics, cybersecurity, IT security, or a comparable field.
  • You have many years of professional experience in Cybersecurity or IT, ideally with a focus on Compliance, Strategy, or Assessments.
  • You have proven expertise in a governance-related area and possess in-depth knowledge of a GRC (Governance, Risk & Compliance) platform that maps external laws and standards.
  • You have strong expertise in Risk Management and Requirements Engineering, ideally within the field of Cybersecurity.
  • You have experience working with diverse roles in international organizations to understand business constraints, explain requirements, and manage communication in case of conflicts.
  • You also have comprehensive experience in integrating process changes and updates into Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Ideally, you bring knowledge of federal (Cybersecurity) laws or relevant standards.
  • Experience in Project Management is an additional advantage.
  • You possess extensive, long-standing professional experience and further qualifications in this field, but no formal degree? We would still be very happy to receive your application.

Your attributes and skills:

  • You will work in an international team with colleagues from Europe, the Americas, and Asia, and therefore have fluent English skills.
  • Due to the strong interface function with the headquarters and the relevance of this role to German legal and regulatory frameworks, you also have very good German language skills. Proximity to the Erlangen location is desirable.
  • You are passionate about the Cybersecurity Governance Framework and are eager to actively shape and further develop it.
  • You work in a structured and independent manner and have already demonstrated your ability to prioritize complex processes. At the same time, you are a strong team player.
  • You ask “Why not?” instead of “Why?” – with your innovative ideas, you challenge the status quo and drive continuous improvement.
  • We learn passionately: You have a strong willingness to learn and are motivated to explore new topics in Cybersecurity as well as quickly adapt to technological changes.
  • Excellent skills in problem-solving, analysis, communication, coordination, and task management complete your profile.
