Then come and join our global team as Project Manager Recording System (f/m/d). We are looking for a motivated Project Manager to lead the development of a cardiology recording system combining a signal acquisition hardware unit with a software platform. This role focuses on software delivery within an integrated system context, ensuring seamless HW/SW integration and successful transfer into production and clinical use.

Choose the best place for your work – Within the scope of this position, it is possible, in consultation with your manager, to work mobile (within Germany) up to an average volume of 60% of the respective working hours.

Even more flexibility? Mobile working from abroad is possible for up to 30 days a year under certain conditions and in selected countries.


Your tasks and responsibilities:

  • You take full responsibility for planning, execution, and delivery of a system project combining hardware and software.
  • You lead the end-to-end integration of hardware and software into a stable and reliable system.
  • You ensure a smooth transition from development into production and deployment readiness.
  • You monitor system performance and stability in the field and continuously drive improvements.
  • You drive Agile and DevOps execution, including CI/CD, automation, and fast feedback loops.
  • You optimize delivery flow, efficiency, and overall throughput.
  • You coordinate cross-functional teams across hardware, software, systems engineering, and quality.
  • You manage collaboration across international teams in Forchheim and Bangalore.
  • You act as a central interface to stakeholders and ensure alignment.
  • You manage risks, dependencies, and timelines proactively.
  • You foster a strong quality mindset and a culture of continuous improvement.

Your qualifications and experience:

  • You hold a degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • You bring many years of professional experience as a project manager in system and/or software projects.
  • You demonstrate experience in hardware/software integration environments.
  • You apply Agile and DevOps practices confidently in your daily work.
  • You understand system lifecycles, including development, integration, and production transfer.


Your attributes and skills:

  • You collaborate effectively with international teams, and you communicate fluently in English. German skills are a plus.
  • You bring proven experience in managing complex, cross-functional projects.
  • You apply strong stakeholder management and communication skills in global environments.
  • You demonstrate a structured, ownership-driven, and results-oriented working style.
  • You show a strong quality mindset and accountability for outcomes. with international teams.
