Your Role:
●The Country Head of Finance (Legal Entity CFO) is a senior, professionally qualified finance leader who leads the legal entity’s finance function and delivers its finance strategy. This individual combines deep technical expertise with commercial acumen — a collaborative, dynamic professional who serves as Guardian of financial integrity, a trusted Business Partner to the leadership team, and a driver of Finance Transformation.
●Act as a trusted strategic partner to the Country Head/Legal Entity CEO and Management Team, collaborating in the formulation and execution of business strategy and providing decisive input on major business decisions.
● Lead end-to-end financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and controlling for the legal entity — including oversight of Terms & Conditions, financial viability of contracts and offers — in close alignment with Zone Finance Management and Zone FI BPC guidance, and supported by Zone FI Functions (eg: OTO, OTC, BPC etc.) as well as Treasury, Tax, Risk & Internal Control, Procurement & Logistics, Facility Management and IT.
● Hosts all SHS corporate FI functions represented in the Country as in-company manager and
ensures proper collaboration between Zone, Region, Offshored functions and SLA Service entities impacting the Country objectives; monitors service quality and escalates in case of service issues
● Acts as in-company manager for Zone FI Departments hosted in Country
● Responsible for capital structure, liquidity and financial development of Country Legal Entity in close collaboration with SHS Shareholder Controlling
● You will serve as a role model for the Finance Community and beyond by living and promoting ownership culture.
● Responsible for monitoring, escalating and driving counter measures to identified Control
deficiencies that impact the Control certification and/or financial performance of the Legal Entity
● Together with Country Head/ Head of AC responsible for internal and external certification
● Act as developer, promoter and mentor for commercial talents in the country.
● You will act as the Investors’ Advocate by protecting the assets and driving sustainable value creation.
● Ensures compliance with local laws and regulations in area of responsibility
● Hold ultimate accountability for the integrity of books and records, compliance with local laws and regulations, and the effectiveness of the risk management and internal control framework — guiding the implementation and administration of Finance policies, guidelines and standards across the organization.
● Maintain networking with customers’ financial representatives, authorities and other financial institutions as well as liaising with external auditors and vendors in contractual matters.
Your Qualifications & Experience
● Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Banking, Accounting, or a related field.
● 10+ years of senior Finance leadership experience, including international exposure across different countries and
cultures — reflected in HQ, country and regional finance functions.
● Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent professional qualification is a significant advantage.
● Financial acumen with thorough understanding of financial statements, GAAP/IFRS, and planning and controlling
processes.
● Effective business management with a proven track record of delivering measurable results.
● Oversight experience including Regulatory framework, Risk and Internal Controls, and Financial support functions
(Accounting, Tax, Treasury).
● Tenured and diverse leadership experience across cross-hierarchical, cross-functional and inter-cultural teams.
Substantial relevant professional experience within a finance function, providing and presenting insightful financia
information and commercial analysis to influence leaders across an organization.
● Professional fluency in English and French (written and spoken) is essential for this role. Arabic language skills as an added advantage.
● Experience in the Morocco Healthcare sector is preferable.
● Development, implementation and monitoring of financial processes and internal controls, including process
improvement and systems implementation.
● Experience of preparing monthly accounts, forecasts, and management information.
● Experience of driving change across complex organizations dealing with multiple stakeholders.
● Experience in leveraging Digital technology to enhance business performance.

● Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or other financial planning software.
● Excellent report-writing and communication skills.
