Digital Solutions Architect

At Siemens Healthineers, we pioneer breakthroughs in healthcare for everyone. Everywhere. Sustainably.  Our innovative technologies, data-driven solutions, and collaborative spirit empower teams to push boundaries and make a meaningful difference every day. As part of our organisation, you’ll work in an environment that values curiosity, inclusion, and continuous learning—where your ideas are welcomed and your impact truly matters.

About the role

We are looking for a Digital Solutions Architect to design, shape, and deliver impactful digital solutions that enable real business outcomes. Working at the intersection of technology, data, and operations, you’ll help transform how digital capabilities are applied across a modern manufacturing and engineering environment.

This is an opportunity to work across a broad range of technologies, influence digital strategy, and contribute to scalable, sustainable solutions that make a tangible difference. You’ll play a key role in creating environments where innovation thrives—balancing technical excellence with collaboration and real-world impact.

What you’ll be doing

  • Designing and delivering digital solutions across applications, data, and integrations
  • Translating business needs into scalable, practical technical designs
  • Ensuring solutions are secure, maintainable, and aligned with agreed standards
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to deliver measurable business value
  • Supporting the adoption and embedding of digital tools, including low-code and automation platforms
  • Identifying and managing risks relating to solution design, data, and operations
  • Working cross-functionally to ensure consistency and alignment across solutions
  • Enabling and coaching citizen developers to unlock wider digital capability
  • Making design decisions that drive long-term scalability and sustainability
  • Guiding colleagues and contributing to the continuous improvement of digital standards and practices

What skills and experience you’ll bring

We’re looking for a blend of technical capability, delivery experience, and a collaborative mindset:

  • Experience delivering solutions using Microsoft 365 and Power Platform (including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Fabric capabilities)
  • Strong understanding of data handling, integration, and processing approaches
  • Experience with technologies such as SQL, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions, Azure Machine Learning, AI Foundry, or Copilot Studio
  • Knowledge of application lifecycle management, environments, and deployment practices
  • Awareness of security, access control, and data governance principles
  • A proven ability to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Confidence working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Experience supporting or enabling citizen development

Desirable:

  • Experience building reusable components or integrations (e.g. custom connectors, PCFs, or automation solutions)
  • Exposure to programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, or C#
  • Background in manufacturing, engineering, or data-driven environments
  • Familiarity with IoT or real-time/event-driven data processing
  • Relevant Microsoft certifications (Azure and/or Power Platform)

What’s on offer

  • Competitive base salary
  • 26 days annual leave with the option to buy up to 10 and sell up to 5
  • Up to 10% matched pension contributions
  • BUPA Private Medical
  • Bonus & Share Save Scheme
  • Free to use on-site gym
  • 2 paid volunteering days a year

In addition, you’ll benefit from working in a supportive, forward-thinking environment where your development is prioritised, your voice is heard, and your work contributes to meaningful outcomes in healthcare and beyond.
