About the Role
We’re looking for an Electronics Product Engineer to join our Commercial Product Engineering
(CPE) team, with responsibility for supporting product lifecycle activities across the value chain.
This is a technical role with a focus on:
- Advanced technical troubleshooting and development of hardware solutions.
- Proactive management of component lifecycle and obsolescence.
- Engineering Design Changes and Implementation.
- Enhancing product performance.
You’ll work across design, manufacturing, quality, and suppliers to keep our products reliable, compliant, and future-ready.
What You’ll Do
- Root Cause Analysis: Drive investigations into complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis (RCA) across the value chain.
- Lifecycle Engineering: Manage electronic part obsolescence and implement design changes for sustained product longevity.
- Engineering Change Management: Own and drive engineering design changes in a regulated environment, leading cross-functional teams through verification, validation, and implementation.
- Hardware Development: Develop, test, and implement hardware solutions to improve product performance and resolve field & manufacturing issues.
What You Bring
- Degree in Electronic Engineering QQI level 8
- Electronics background with compliance-driven engineering experience.
- Experience with the following:
- Analog & Digital Circuitry, circuit Analysis
- PCB Layout & Design techniques.
- Problem Solving and troubleshooting skills
- Component obsolescence and risk mitigation
- Cross functional project team leadership & collaboration
- Supplier interactions.
- Lab proficient - experienced in using various electronic laboratory bench test equipment
