ZONE Sales Education and Development (SEDU) Manager, Diagnostics (DX)
Position Overview
This position will be responsible for the Sales Education and Development Function for the Asia Pacific Japan (APJ) Zone. SEDU Manager is accountable for the overall sales education strategy, sales training framework, training program definition, enhancement of tools & processes for the expansion of commercial excellence across sales force in the APJ zone; and to deliver and coordinate training initiatives and competency assessment targeting the effective and sustainable expansion of market share and profitability in the Zone.
The ideal candidate shall have previous experience in sales function and sales education. The position requires strong experience and full collaboration with global, zone and country leadership teams. Proven track record of accomplishments in implementing and sustaining ongoing organizational development and transformation is an added advantage.
This position can be located anywhere in the Zone and report to the Head of Commercial Operation, Lab Solutions, APJ.
Key competencies & Requirements:
- Certified Sales Trainer in any of the following would be an advantage: Strategic Selling, SPIN Selling, IMPACT Selling, Negotiation, Value Based Selling, Challenger Sales, Coaching and Leadership.
· English competent. Multilingual capabilities is a plus.
· Ability to manage timelines and deliverables.
· Expertise in implementation of training programs
· Intercultural sensitivity
· Proven self-reliance, high motivation, and flexibility
Main Activities and Responsibilities
· Collaborate with leadership team in designing and driving implementation of effective Sales Education Program across APJ.
· Responsible as the lead trainer for various Selling Skills Training.
· Drive Train -the – Trainer Program and develop more sales trainers and ambassador across APJ zone.
· Mapping of the sales roles (such as sales representatives, sales specialists, regional sales manager, National sales manager, Business Partner Manager and Marketing etc.) to implement Sales Certification programs in each county in APJ.
· Run and coordinates assessment of sales team capabilities (including product information, market, tools, soft skills, and strategic selling capabilities) in order to implement subsequent training program to effectively up-skill competency of the sales team sustainably.
· Aligns the curriculum with the different countries to understand and adapt to their local needs (e.g. indirect partner versus direct sales force).
